“We were introduced to Lighting Designer, Nathanael Washam, by our general contractor. At first, we were not convinced that we needed a designer, but after meeting Nathanael and hearing his ideas for lighting our home, we realized that designing the lighting is not something we could do ourselves. Nathanael was good at figuring out our lighting needs based on how we would use individual rooms and he drew a detailed lighting diagram that was invaluable to our electrician. Throughout the process, Nathanael was courteous and friendly. We are very happy with the results and would recommend his services to anyone building or remodeling.”

“This company makes the most interesting early 20th century lights. Due to regulations I was not permitted to use originals but these lights look really amazing, even close up. Even the links on the chain have a pattern stamped on them! Miranda was super helpful and patient. She was willing to work with me on a custom finish and custom length for lights. Opening a restaurant in San Francisco isn't easy, but this was not one of the difficult parts. This is more a public thank you than a review, but I stand by it just the same.”

“I rarely write reviews, but was so impressed by Solid Apollo's outstanding customer service that I wanted to share my thoughts. My master bathroom LED lighting project was not that large, yet Andrew spent a lot of time explaining options and making suggestions (all of which I adopted). Moreover, when the first estimate was a bit more than I wanted to spend, without hesitiation Andrew made recommendations on how we could cut costs yet still have a terrific lighting system. Ultimately, our lighing project using their products came out amazingly well. These days it seems so rare to get great customer service so I was delighted to do business with this company and highly recommend them.”

“I started working with Steve on some timber joint straps for a cottage we built in an old world "handmade everything" style. He did such a great job I went on to use him to make the stair railing, door hinges and all the light fixtures in the house. I really enjoyed working with Steve. He came up with some beautiful designs. He is a great artisan and craftsman. Everyone compliments the house, especially the iron work.”
