Craig is easy to work with: he doesn't rush decisions; he works with you to create designs; and he hires high quality and hardworking team leaders and workers. When our friends and family walk into our large backyard, for the first time, complete with a gazebo with pink roses running around it, they gasp with delight. “I merely opened an account to leave an excellent review for our foreman, Victor and Jesus, our Project Manager, also to his team of professionals. My husband and I called Blue Sierra to schedule an initial visit, when they came to assess our project, they explained their process, from budgeting to signing a contract and were very knowledgeable and prompt to answer our questions. After reviewing our plans and discussing the process, we were confident to sign a contract and eager to get started, they provided us with a work schedule to keep track on the progress of the project and keep us on the loop. They amazed us with their quality and how closely they followed the schedule they initially gave us, and the plans from our Architect. Overall my husband and I had a great experience with Blue Sierra Landscape, they followed the plans without cutting corners and delivered exactly what we were looking for. Jesus was very responsive and eased our worries throughout the process. We had a very personalized service and direct communication with him at all times for questions and updates. “Jim Roberts was our contact with Black Diamond for our project which consisted of (1)replacing a poured concrete front walkway that had two steps with pavers on an incline with no steps (this avoids people tripping on the steps at night) ; (2) creating a parking space next to the driveway with pavers; and (3) creating extra patio space using pavers around the back yard pool out of a grass area. Jim provided a nice presentation and competitive estimate and provided valuable creative input that steered us towards good choices of pavers and a great outcome. I was very nervous about the second part of the project (see above) because virtually all of our house utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable, water line and drain line) all were directly through the area to be paved. Also, two massive tree root systems running through the area had to be hand removed due to being directly over the utilities. Jim and Black Diamond served up a truly outstanding crew that pulled it off without cutting any of the utility lines. Jim had good follow through and represented his company professionally and he would be our first call should we need paver services again. In summary, this was one of our best ever contracting outcomes and give due credit to Jim for that result. Chuck Clark”

“Southbay Design & Landscaping redid our backyard over 4 years ago, and have been maintaining it ever since. They are very responsive to any requests we have and are thorough in the maintenance of our yard. I appreciate that they will plant new plants for us if we pick them up and have given advice on what kind of plants work around our yard. They even help out by fixing our sprinklers without us asking (we actually hadn’t realized it was broken but were suspicious of why the grass wasn’t growing well in one spot). We appreciate their professionalism and good work.”
