“We worked with Garden Gate on two major yard renovation projects, in summer 2008 and fall 2010. From concept to completion, the entire team and experience, led by designer Cathy Carr, was first rate. I would describe us as "involved" clients and our input and feedback was welcomed throughout--including thoughtful understanding of parts of the project we wished to plant ourselves. The 2010 project involved many moving parts, including removal of existing concrete/asphalt driveway, stormwater flooding mitigation, installation of flagstone patio, water feature, stone steps and driveway pavers, as well as plant installation. When the following spring thaw revealed water seepage issues, they returned without hesitation to reroute drainage and solve the problem. The projects have transformed our outdoor living space and bring us great joy as we spend lots of time outside with family and friends.”

They called back almost immediately, and within 10 days I had a landscape design that was beyond what I imagined possible. The crew was incredibly friendly and professional, and cleaned up after each day. The work continued without delay and now I have the best looking property in the neighborhood. “We are thrilled with our landscaping as designed and provided by Eden Design Group. We also like their workers whom we see season after season and are accommodating, pleasant and professional. We especially like the compliments about our landscaping we receive from friends and visitors. We also use them in an annual retainer as they provide all seasonal work. We just have to look at our yards and do not a thing ourselves.”

“I hired Chad at Surrounds, because I was looking for someone who could transform our backyard into another area for entertaining. We trusted him. He worked closely with us to present and modify the designs. He let us know when things would not work. We wanted a football field for the kids, as well as covered porch for the back and stone patio /fireplace or the fall. The landscaping was to tastefully hide our close neighbors and provide a southern style charm with year round color and lots of green texture. It is gorgeous on all counts. They flattened the yard and stonework is perfect. We love it.”
