Once we met with them and then reviewed what they could build, it was an easy decision. “I highly recommend this company! Poul's has done all of our landscaping design and installation since our house was built. We have used their services several times during our phased-in landscaping approach. Their very talented landscape architects' designs are beautiful and they take the time to meet with you to determine the best plan for your specific area, tastes, lifestyle and budget. I really like the fact that they have their own nursery and you can walk their property with a professional to pick out just the right tree or shrub if you want. The trees they planted for us several years ago were amazing and continue to thrive providing us with beautiful shade in just the right spot. Most recently, we've cleared out a brush line and Poul's designed and installed new flowering bushes and perennials which have completely changed the look of our back yard.”

“We have had Exterra do two projects for our home. First was landscaping the front and side of the house. This involved stone work, plantings and a pergola. We were thrilled with beautiful design and the craftsmanship of installation. The plantings have thrived and after 10 years all the work remains intact. Two years ago, we came back to Pete to have a patio put on the back of the house. This was all brick work and Pete's design was great and worked perfect with what was existing. We had some settling on the patio and Exterra was out immediately to fix it and it is great. We love the work Pete has done with design and the guys doing the install were wonderful. We whole heartedly recommend Exterra designs.”

“We had an amazing experience with MJS Landscaping. We were referred to the company by a friend (who also happens to be an employee at MJS). Tracy, our designer, walked us through the entire process with professionalism and grace. She was available whenever we needed her and always responded to our questions in a timely fashion. She took our vision (a couple who has never built a new home/had to do landscaping before) and made it reality. Even when we needed to cut a few items to stay within budget - she worked with us to make it happen. Ruben and his crew were wonderful to work with. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were also wonderful about keeping the site as neat as possible. Our finished project exceeded our expectations. “We had recently added a sunroom and needed some landscaping done in our backyard around the new room. We also decided to put in a patio adjacent to the sunroom. We have a slanted backyard, so we really needed advice on how to accomplish this. In addition, we needed a landscaper to work with us as the contractor finished our deck so everything would flow together. We had an idea of what we wanted, but were really looking for advice and recommendations. We talked to three different landscapers and decided to go with Western DuPage Landscaping. The designer, Nicole, had some great suggestions for our project and worked within the budget we gave her. She patiently explained the difference in pricing between the various pavers available and also recommended plants and shrubs that would grow in our very shaded backyard. Our project came in on budget and in the time frame given. We are very happy with the work done and would not hesitate to return to WDL for future work.”

“Rooftopia has been exceptional to work with. We live in an apt. duplex with limited space available for them to work with but they were able to create a beautiful landscape. Although we were on a tight budget, they were able to offer us so many options. Everything was completely professional. The proposal was clear and included photo images so we could visualize the layout and end product. They were in constant communication during the entire process too. They are the best in Chicago and so grateful we found them!”
