“We hired Alderwood Landscape to redesign and relandscape our yard, take out our concrete driveway and install a paver driveway. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, always concerned that we were happy with the process and the final product. Our project was a big undertaking and there were hicups, but the crew was great at troubleshooting and working with us. We are excited to see our new plants in bloom and the driveway is not not only better from a functional standpoint, but a beautiful improvement.”

“How gratuitous meeting Alina, who then took my simple plan of a backyard putting green to a beautiful garden incorporating my passion for golf. Alina was most accommodating to my various design modifications ensuring we got it right before breaking ground. We managed a sunken trampoline, with flat stone retaining wall, to pacify kids back yard hobby, two patio areas appeasing my wife’s desires for afternoon tea in the garden and my passion for golf, including a 20’X40’ putting green, a large sand trap and a well disguised 10x 15 golf hitting cage, all nestled around the large stone pathways and the strategic selections of plants and trees. It truly makes for a wonderful place to play or relax. The detailed design proved invaluable in ensuing contractor did not deviate from the design plan and her continued engagement with contractor ensured all the technical (drainage, soil etc.) and the above ground details were performed as required. Great vision, excellent aesthetic result, hopefully better golf.”

“Tan, the owner of Westland Design Ltd, is wonderful. He listened and really understood our need. Me dad has alzheimer's and had started wandering. Now with our beautiful enclosed and gated courtyard, he is safe and we are happy. My elderly parents sit and admire the open and interesting space for hours and the birdies come and bathe in our little water feature. If dad were to wake up confused in the night he can sit in his softly illuminated garden and find peace and tranquility. Tan and Doug and Lucas worked so hard to create a work of art for us, we are completely pleased and grateful. I now feel a deep friendship for Tan and hope he and his team and family will always be a part of ours. Which is another fact in his favour, he took me around to many different project sites and all the home owners I met were so pleased with their projects, even after many years. We found Max to be smart, knowledgeable, and very responsive to our schedule, budget, and landscape desires (including the need for drainage mitigation). “Constance was just phenomenal. We wanted attempted to redesign our front yard last year on our own but were underwhelmed by the end result. Constance came in and listened to all of our ideas/wants/needs and found a wonderful solution to suit us without us having to completely remodel. She was very professional, thorough and knowledgeable. Also very reasonable rates with a quick turnaround. I highly recommend her!”

“Edge and Element did an absolutely outstanding renovation of the patio and front flower beds in our small condo - from replacing our clay-heavy soil with plant-nourishing new soil in the flower beds and for our 6' x 20' patio, Michelle designed and selected containers which she planted with Japanese maples, perennials and seasonal annuals. We love looking out at this beautiful area. This was all done at quite reasonable cost. We highly recommend Michelle Benson and Edge and Element.”
