“We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting. We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home. We continue to invite Aran and the team back year after year to tackle new projects and continue to beautify our land.”

The owner Rich Sr. is a NJ Licensed Landscape Architect and his son Rich Jr. has a masters in Landscape Design. They are leaders of a company that is passionate about creating beautiful landscapes. They have an experienced staff of craftsmen and horticulturalists. Which can tackle any size project and have a range of specialties including : deer resistant plantings, custom stone work, drainage and grading, etc.... “I wanted a unique Brooklyn backyard that was striking and pleasing. Something that maximized its size, shape, sun and shade. I believe that was accomplished to the max. FireDean was always up front with time and cost. He provided a blueprint and photoshop picture of the finished garden and an itemized list of all plants, material and labor costs. Any changes were agreed upon beforehand. The stonework took a little longer than expected because of his attention to detail. Our back and forth communication was always prompt and complete. I trust FireDean to always do excellent work. He prides himself on his finished product and pleasing his customer. He did both in my case. I know I'll have years of pleasure with my backyard. “Dan Steigerwald of Designscapes and his team provided us with a complete design and installation of our back yard garden that included a new pool, limestone patio with several levels and a bbq island, complete landscaping, and lighting. We could not be more enthused and excited as we look out at our paradise. The professionalism that Dan, his quality control man, Jerry, and their crew exhibit is not matched anywhere. They are completely committed to ensuring the project stays on time (where weather permit), on budget, and that the client is happy. In addition, Dan is very easy to work with and accepting of changes, taking them in stride to make sure things are done right and everyone is happy. We truly have a magazine spread quality result....don't be surprised if it is photographed for a magazine!!!”

“In 2012 after living in our house for the last 18 years, we decided to update our 1970's colonial rather than move. This project included the landscaping as well as the home itself. After looking at many landscape companies and numerous properties, we decided to hire The LaurelRock Company. We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. The outcome was a very cohesive project that was handled with the utmost professionalism and timeliness. Thank you LaurelRock for helping us have the home of our dreams !”

She tirelessly designs, picks out planting’s and many other details which are too numerous to mention. She does it all. Her staff also maintain my gardens better than I can.
