“My small basement was in desperate need of renovation. Honestly, it was gross and I dreaded even going walking through it (to get to the backyard). Although small, it was made into a basement apartment with small kitchen, bathroom & bedroom. I wanted to renovate by removing the kitchen & shower & creating a rec room with a space to exercise. Didn’t seem like a big deal and a simple job. I contacted a few reno companies however, they either wouldn’t accept the job because it was too small or were overpriced. A colleague mentioned Simpson Built Flooring Solutions and the great work Colin did on their flooring. So decided to contact & meet Colin. After the meeting, it was clear that I would trust my gross basement/reno job to Colin. From estimate through to completion, Colin kept me informed of each step, updated costs (if we agreed to it), provided options and worked hard to complete the project on time. Colin did a great job! I’m extremely happy with my rec room & do not ‘dread’ going down there. It’s comfortable & I’m confident in the quality of work Colin did. I still get complaints from everyone about the transformation. If I have another job, I will contact Colin first. Highly recommend Simpson Built Flooring Solutions & Colin!”

“I recently purchased and installed Torlys Everwood vinyl plank flooring in my condo and am extremely happy with this product. As promised the floors look and feel like real wood with the added bonus of being very durable and easy to clean. I have three pets and so far not one scratch from pet nails and they have been giving it a workout. The combination of underpad and the cork backing that is attached to the vinyl is also appreciated as I have arthritis and the flexibility and soft feel of the flooring is easier on my legs, causing less stress to my joints and overall less pain when standing and walking. I would recommend this product for anyone who wants a good look plus durability!”

“This is the third time that we have had Bert Vis Flooring put in floors for us. All three times we have been greatly satisfied. Two of the times were approx. 8 years ago and the floors look as good today as they did on the day they were installed. The third time was just last week. The gentleman doing the installation was Henry. You couldn't find a better worker anywhere. He stayed on the property all day including his short breaks and quick lunch. Henry was very conscientious and took pride in his work. We have been very happy with the work done by Bert Vis Flooring and would definitely recommend them. C and G”

“We have a Vintage Jatoba hardwood Floor installed in our home since 2002 . It has performed very well over the last 14 years . It is easy to clean and looks great . We have had some minor minor dents scratches over the years and we used a Vintage Touch kit to hide them . We are very happy with the performance of this floor”

He came to our home, looked at the room, said he knew the perfect carpet, brought it to us and it was absolutely perfect!
