“We visited Nostalgia looking for a period fireplace for our Victorian property we are renovating. We were blown away by the choice available, but after some very helpful guidance from Nick, we purchased a restored Carrara marble fire surround and cast iron grate. We weren't in a possition to take delivery straight away but Nick offered to hold the fireplace until we were ready. When the fireplace was delivered we were not dissappointed with our choice. It looks amazing! From start to finish the service has been excellent and I will certainly be going back to Nostalgia when we come to renovate the other rooms. Thank you.”

“From start to finish, Phoenix Fires service was top notch. Great range of fires to choose from including gas, electric or wood burners with some to view in the showroom. They had lots of fitting experiences so came up with some good design ideas to suit you and your home. “We recently visited Stoke gas, Shelton, S O T, because we had started a total renovation project in our home. As we were making complete changes, and after trawling the internet, without success we decided to visit the above branch, numerous times may I add. At each visit we were treated with patience, professionalism, pleasantness. we greatly admired the knowledge of all types of fires and felt we left very happy with our purchase without straying far from our planned budget. We would recommend this branch to family and friends, highlighting that face to face selling and purchasing should not be lost. Thanks greatly to Pippa for all her help Regards Bev and Dave Palin”

“Brian Schofield of Sherwood Fireplaces and Stoves provided us with an excellent service from start to finish when he installed a solid fuel stove for us. Friendly, professional, informative and centred on providing us with what we needed. He spent a good hour with us at the initial visit, making sure he understood what we wanted and then going through a range of options to ensure we would get the right stove for our home. This outshone the competition and gave us full confidence that we would be getting a quality service, confidence that was fully born out. His written quotation was prompt, clear and comprehensive - we knew exactly what we would be getting. Brian was on-site to ensure the scaffolding company provided the right framework. That was unexpected but showed a great attention to detail. We were having other work done at our home and Brian's efforts in liaising with our builder and timing the installation to fit in with the other works was greatly appreciated. His flexibility really demonstrated a customer-is-king attitude and made our life so much easier. The stove and chimney installation went smoothly and all the mess was cleared away. The stove looked great but needed to be left for a day before being lit.. This is where Brian again went over and above what his competitors provide when he returned to check the stove and chimney and demonstrate the best way to get it lit and manage the stove. Sherwood Stoves provided a great service and, while not cheap, charged a very fair price. I would recommend them without hesitation.”

“After much searching, I chose a Cast Iron Fireplace with Electric Insert as the reviews were all amazing, the look was exactly what I was after, and the price was far less than many other companies. Fireplaces 4 Life have been brilliant to deal with. I called and asked many questions, I wanted a special hearth which they organised without a trouble, and it was delivered on the day of my choice by a very helpful courier to even lifted it upstairs for me. The fireplace itself is exquisite. Honestly, I'm very fussy (just ask my painter!), and I could not find one that I prefer even if my budget was unlimited. I haven't installed it yet as the livingroom isn't finished, but the process was easy and smooth from beginning to end, the fireplace is exactly as pictured in Fireplace 4 Life's photos (the pics look so good that you'd expect they are heavily photoshopped - but the fireplace honestly is that exquisite and shiny (I chose a polished one)), and the dimensions on the website are spot on (which made it easy to prepare the space for it before it arrived). I cannot recommend them enough, and I will be using them again in the future. Thanks very much!”
