“Kirsty and Elke were really great to work with. They listened to what I wanted and stuck to my budget. I loved the way they came up with creative ideas I wouldn't have thought of and it all really worked. The end result was so much better than I was expecting. I love my living room now. Everyone admires it and I just find it so calm to sit in and read a book. I never thought I was someone who would hire a professional designer, but I just couldn't make up my mind about colours and curtains and now I'm a complete convert. In fact, I'm thinking of hiring them to do the rest of the house!”

She prepared a complete questionnaire to hep identify what I wanted, inspired me with some examples, and then sent me mood boards and recommendations on where to buy the different pieces of furniture / decoration. “Having been used to furnishing period properties, I suspected I would be in trouble when I purchased a large, square-roomed flat with no intrinsic features to guide me. Fortunately I found Lisa who, over a period of several months, has delivered a home that is both stylish and comfortable. She is very professional and needed to be extremely patient, since I knew what I didn’t want rather than what I did. After an initial meeting on site she produced mood-boards that were subsequently added to and subtracted from. Having sourced pieces that she felt would work Lisa accompanied me on two days of pre-arranged meetings with suppliers, her presence being invaluable in keeping me focused. She ordered items once decided upon and arranged for their delivery, which sometimes required time-consuming input on her part since I am absent from the UK for periods of time. Lisa has great ideas, is a delight to work with and really cares about what she does. In short, I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone seeking a thoughtful, talented and pro-active interior designer.”

“As an overseas client looking to renovate our period property in Bath from a distance, PiD were invaluable in helping us achieve the home we have always dreamt of. Barbara acted as our eyes and ears on the ground, bringing a ready made team of skilled and reliable tradespeople to the table saving us the headache of trying to source them ourselves. The work carried out included replacing the roof, installing new wiring, upgrading the plumbing, designing and fitting a new master bathroom and kitchen, and converting the cellars into liveable space, along with complete redecoration - everything from paint colours to carpets and curtains. PiD also carried out a refurbishment of our two bedroom cottage, adjacent to the house - which again included a new bathroom and kitchen and complete redecoration. We are absolutely delighted with the end results, which is due in no small part to Barbara's ability to meet and indeed exceed the expectations of a sometimes highly demanding client!”

“We at blue bee, commissioned Living the Interior to re-style our office, it was your standard magnolia-painted office space and lacked character. Since we are a creative agency we wanted a space that would inspire the team working there and impress clients on their visits to the office. Both Kat and Vickie were highly professional on their visits, quick with their responses whenever we had any questions and came up with a scheme for the office that has transformed the place we work. We couldn't be happier, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!”
