“As a first time homeowner with a shortage of time and a deck in need of some tlc I needed not only a professional service but some solid advice on the care and treatment of my deck. Bruce was extremely friendly, and easy to work with. As others have mentioned, he responds to email very quickly and stays involved through the whole process. Not only was their work top notch, but Bruce was also very forthcoming and honest about what really needed to be done to care for the deck which was extremely helpful in getting the right work done within my tight budget. “I've known Rudi for many years and it was a pleasure to finally work with him first hand on some improvements on my house in Rockridge. My nearly 100 year old house was due for new windows and my 14 year old deck was looking tired so I hired Schafer Construction to do the work.
