“We met with Matthew Pavelchak in the summer of 2017 to discuss plans for rebuilding a house on Beech Mountain. We wanted the new house to capture the spirit of the traditional Alpine Haus put on our lot in the late 1960's, but with the quality construction, updated features, and more comfortable living that a new home could provide. Matthew really listened to our needs and came up with a beautiful, creative, livable design. Throughout the construction process, he made himself available to talk with our contractor and visit the construction site multiple times to clarify the plans and answer questions. The house was completed in June 2020 and we could not be happier with the final product. Matthew designed a gorgeous, user friendly, comfortable home that we will be in for many years. “Adrienne at Studio 2802 is phenomenal. She assisted us on an 18 month journey of building two custom homes on our property. Her knowledge and skills were absolutely invaluable during this time! She took our vision and executed it flawlessly- modifying our initial home plans and elevating them to make them not only beautiful, but practical for our family. From the moment I met her at our initial consultation, I knew our project was safe in her hands. Adrienne has an amazing eye and impeccable taste, and what she does is truly a form of art. She provided renderings, samples, and inspiration images that brought our house to life before we even broke ground. Throughout the stressful process, I had little worry knowing that Adrienne was in our corner. “Reedy &Sykes designed a new covered patio for an existing house. The project was complicated by the need to match up roof lines from the original house, a added greenhouse entry and the new gable roof line of the patio cover. The end result was a wonderful patio garden area which allowed for the use of the patio rain or shine.”

“My husband and I are thrilled to be starting construction on our family home designed by Christopher Kellie Design Inc.. It was a true pleasure to work with Brent and Autumn Simmons throughout the design process. Not only is the architecture of Christopher Kellie aesthetically pleasing, it is also very smart in it's design. As a contractor/designer myself, I was first drawn to the "look" of the houses designed by the Simmons, however the actual use of space proved to be just as impressive. Brent's background knowledge in construction is obvious, as his layouts are very builder-friendly. Close attention is given to sizes and spatial relationships, allowing for maximum usage of area and efficiency with materials. On a more personal note, the Simmons were a joy to meet and work with. We live in another state, and they were most accommodating from the beginning. Autumn helped us to plan our trip to the beautiful mountains of NC, giving us recommendations for lodging, dining, as well as the best places to visit while in the area. The two also opened up their home to us, allowing us to see first hand their designs put to life. Since our visit, they have checked in periodically on our progress and we look forward to sharing photos soon! “Working with Mark Lee on our vacation home design was a pleasant experience. Because of his recommendations, our house is not only exactly the style we love, but is also functional. It is a cozy retreat for the two of us when we are here alone, yet it comfortably accommodates our visiting family and friends. Mark's plan maximizes our square footage so the house feels much larger than it actually is. We've had many compliments, beginning with the contractor who said the plans were "builder friendly." As we requested, Mark designed our house with "wow" factors---such as the lofted ceiling, beautiful staircase, fireplace & custom shelves, and huge screened porch---that still "wow" our guests (and us every time we come.) Completely satisfied with Mark's creative talents, knowledge, and attention to detail, we hired him in 2011 to design us a primary home in Alabama.
