“We met with Ileana to discuss possible renovation ideas to our 1960s house to open up the space and to re-think our upstairs bathrooms. She designed the project in a way that allowed us to consider the two pieces (upstairs and downstairs) both separately and together. We originally thought we would focus on the upstairs initially, but we were so happy with the redesigned first floor that we ended up deciding to tackle this project first. We contracted with a local company to do the work, and they have had no problems following Ileana's architectural drawings.”

“Karen at Transforming Architecture was reccoemnded by my real estate agent as she had done work on his home. At our first meeting she gave us an idea of the scope of the projects she has accomplished and the fee structure. She really listened to our ideas and concerns for our kitchen renovation. Karen presented 3 visions for our renovation, one with exactly what we asked for and then two other options. The third design presented involved moving our kitchen and creating an open floor plan. This was beyond anything we could have imagined o our own and made the best use of the space and our renovation dollars. We are currently under construction but Karen is readily available to answer questions and make edits to the design. It is a pleasure to work with her and I can't wait to see her vision come to fruition.”

Sahnur has communicated with us constantly and has been thorough in all of the plans he has put together for us to date. Sahnur worked with us on designing a 4,500 square foot addition to to our home. We were happy with the ideas he came up with and the attention to detail with every aspect of the plan. He was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our needs and wants were incorporated into the plans. “Scott was incredibly helpful, he explained a lot to me and gave me advice even after he knew I was not going to use him as an architect, he still took the time to make sure I was on the right track and told me things to ask the architect I was using instead to make sure my project was done right. The only reason I did not go with him was because the architect I originally got a quote from was less expensive because I was tweaking a design they had already created, versus starting from scratch. Otherwise I would have chosen Scott. He is a good person, very helpful and seems like an incredibly knowledgeable architect. I would recommend him for sure.”

“Kube Architecture designed a new rear to my 19th Century row house. You can look it up on Houzz where it was featured. We loved working with Rich and Janet and their staff. They are full of good ideas, and we got the fun, edgy, and functional space we always wanted, still respecting the bones of the old house and its quirks. Kube is responsive, creative, clever, thoughtful, and always understanding of client needs, not just design imperatives. Moreover, they are so great to work with, they really listen and care about how you live in your space. They use the best modern materials, and like to experiment. They are especially known for their handling of light and color. Modern isn't so serious or cold when Kube designs it! I can't wait to hire them again.”
