We are a custom design builder of additions, home renovations, and custom homes. My wife and I recently went through a renovation with Winthorpe to add an additional story to our home. Krag walked us through the process starting with the design phase and Jerry and Jeff did an amazing job executing on the plans that we created. Krag from Winthorpe design and build came to our home and provided a plan for enlarging our kitchen with an addition to our home. My husband and I went to their offices to discuss the potential project further and consider possible materials. They were clearly experienced, easy to work with, explained our choices well, and we were glad to have had the chance to meet and discuss options for our kitchen addition. Winthorpe Design and Build started construction about two months after our meeting. They did all the drawings and permits, it was great and we could not be happier. They really listened to our specifications and were great to work with every step of the way! We would definitely have them back for our next remodel project!

Winthorpe Design and Build renovated our kitchen, bathroom, living room and family room and they did an excellent job. Scott and his team are totally professional. They designed, purchased and installed tile flooring, tiles walls, concrete countertops and fixtures. Dave helped us solve a problem with a door and window that were leaking into the kitchen and living room. Krag designed everything and helped us select the tiles, counters, fixtures and everything we needed. My wife and I are incredibly pleased with our experience with Winthorpe Design and Build & would strongly recommend Scott and his company without any hesitation. We hired Winthorpe to design and to renovate our bathroom and kitchen and to create an open living space where a series of walls had once been. Not only did Krag and his team do a great job with the project, but Dave (our project manager) completed the entire project on time. We were so pleased with the work that we expanded the project as it went on, and by the end had effectively renovated the entire first floor with the help of Krag. Krag did a superb job designing our first floor to really fit the way our family lives. All along the way, Dave was very responsive to our requests and the growing nature of the project, and maintained the schedule despite the growing scope of the work. Krag has a great aesthetic eye and provides plenty of good advice along the way; he is also a great communicator and corresponded with us quickly regularly (by e-mail, text, and phone) to keep us up to date and to resolve any questions we had. Our entire experience was very smooth and made the renovation of our home much easier and smoother than we could have imagined! We are almost ready to tackle the upstairs and an addition in early 2016!

After interviewing several builders, my wife and I selected Winthorpe Design & Build based on previous projects. Scott and his staff were attentive during the pre-construction phase, the building phase and remain so many months after the project was completed. Krag (Designer/Estimator was very close to being on budget (after several changes we had made) and in the end Winthorpe’s craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We have received numerous complements about our home and are happy when people drop by and ask "who built your home?". I would hire his firm again but that won't be necessary, my wife & I are living in our dream house with the security that it was well designed and built. We had a few questions after moving in and Krag came out to walk through (again) to explain how some of the high tech items we wanted worked (media room,security system and the whole house stereo, lights and window shades (all wireless and that are controlled by our tablets & phones ).

Scott and his team completed several remodeling jobs for us in our 1st house, We then had an opportunity to move into a house that was built by Winthorpe. Since then, they have completed several additional remodeling jobs including a finished basement and a screened in deck. I have complete trust in Winthorpe, rely on them for suggestions and have never been disappointed.

They were hired to rehab an investment property which I owned. They completed the project on time and within budget. They handled unforeseen problems efficiently and within budget. They picked out and suggested materials, color schemes, and design options. Their quality work allowed me to sell the property for an increased profit. The cost was very reasonable.

Winthorpe Design & Build, Inc. is in the final stages of remodeling our home. Some areas were completely remodeled and other areas partially remodeled. They have replaced hardwood floors, made one large bathroom into two smaller bathrooms, an office into an office/bedroom. A completely new kitchen, family room, a completely new master bathroom as well as changing our pools surrounding from a softscape to a hardscape with brick pavers. They have made smaller improvements along the way in other areas of our home such as installing a new gas fireplace in the master bedroom. Everything in our home is custom and has required attention to detail, which Winthorpe does very well. We have stained glass in our home that is from the late 1800 that was moved and reinstalled by Winthorpe without any problems. No job is too big for them to handle.

Wonderful job. Easy to work with. Easily adjusted to and even recommended positive changes. Work was completed on time and they didn't leave until the job was entirely finished. Very professional and respectful of my home. Winthorpe has done several jobs for us from small renovation work to a large addition in two different homes and each time the work was beautiful and there was not a lot of stress on my end. I never had a bad surprise from them. I would highly recommend them!
