A couple of years ago we decided to upgrade our dining room furniture. We weren’t in a hurry, and eventually we found a table we really liked at a high-end store in Cambridge which sells furniture made by small shops in Western MA and elsewhere. I had the idea of cutting out the middleman and having something similar custom made. I asked Ugol Woodworks for a quote because they had done some beautiful carpentry for friends of ours. Ugol matched the price at the furniture store, but the product we received was way better—the design is fantastic, and all the specs are superior. For example, the planks of cherry are much wider and longer than those used in the store version, and they are aligned to show the patterns of the natural wood grain. This table is the nicest piece of furniture we have ever bought. It totally changed the look of our dining room and we get lots of compliments for it. We are very happy with the kitchen and pantry Ugol built for us. Our island with the thick, natural wood riser in a nicely done finish, came out great! In fact, Constantine has good ideas on everything, from efficient, pleasing design to appropriate material. He also built our wall-hung Master bath vanity, and simple, European style cabinetry for our small lavette. Everything looks just lovely! And on time too. Will trust Constantine with our next cabinetry project.

Constantine and his team did a perfect job building and installing our custom kitchen cabinetry. They also built an oversized kitchen table which had become the showpiece of the kitchen - everyone comments on how beautiful it is. I can not say enough about the Ugol Woodworking company. I’ve worked with the owner Constantine many times now. One of my first times working with him he helped me design the waiting room/ reception area of my office building. He offered very unique and practical design ideas based on my needs. Despite his high quality of work, Constantine is great at crafting your visions within your budget. There were absolutely zero issues that came up when we worked together. He is great at keeping the process easy and smooth; from sketching to the final product. The results exceed my expectations every time. The administrator at Ugol is fantastic and does a tremendous job as well. The installation crew was very nice. They were courteous,friendly, and polite. Everything was done on time; quickly and neatly. I would highly recommend the Ugol Woodworking company. They’re great at helping turn your ideas into a reality.

Constantine delivered a large, beautiful, handmade, bathroom vanity to me today. He understood what I wanted, built it on time, in fact it was ready early and installed it. The simple, elegant details on the front and the inside of the drawers are even lovelier than I imagined. I wanted solid surface, square sinks, which he wasn't sure his fabricator could make. But he had them made and they look fabulous. It was easy to work with Ugol Woodworks. Plans were emailed ahead of time so my plumber could use them. Everything was professional and I am so pleased.

A very respectful, quality focused company. I would recommend them if you want a good experience, and high quality job. They are there with you until the end, to make sure that the job is to your satisfaction. Great new kitchen, library, bathrooms, and walk in closets. I have since used them again for additional work, and again was very happy.

We loved working with Ugol Woodworks on our kitchen cabinets. Constantine and his crew put a lot of time and attention into the detail of our kitchen cabinetry. He made a point to be there when the counterop templater came, so that he could help us make decisions that made sense. When we had last minute adjustments, rather than make a big deal of it, they just said, "Hey, it's hard to know everything up front," and make the minor adjustments on site. Another thing was that they make nice decisions on their own if you forget to address something. I never discussed side panels at all, and other cabinet makers may have cheaped out and put a flat panel since it wasn't discussed. Ugol put detail to match the cabinet faces on the sides, and they've gotten several compliments since the installation. Best of all, though, was how available he has been, even after installation. He called a couple of weeks after install to check in and is addressing a problem that arose with some hardware even though he's been paid in full at this point. Constantine was always available by email, phone or text for quick questions as they came up (and they come up constantly when you're doing your own kitchen!). Highly recommended for both quality and reliability.

Really professional and courteous people that set they standards way above average. Totally capable of either planning any job thoroughly to avoid delays or to solve unexpected problems - that are inevitable every time you do a complex job - prompt and clever. Will use them every time any wood work project will come up!

Constantin produced a beautiful built-in cabinet for us. In our case, he worked directly from a designer's drawings, as requested, but understood exactly what we were looking for and made suggestions where necessary. His craftsmanship is absolutely top notch and the cabinets, 18 months later, still look perfect. He was always friendly and professional and I do not hesitate to recommend him.
