This project was overseen by an employee who is no longer with us. It involved installing laminate countertops and paneling for a local restaurant. The client called about a month after the job had been completed (and paid for) and told us that one of the colors was incorrect. He said the job should have featured two different colors.

Unfortunately, we were not privy to any conversations this customer had with our former employee. We reviewed the contract that was sent to the customer, as well as email correspondence between the customer and our former employee. There was no mention of a second color in the contract or in email correspondence. The contract shows only one color. The client accepted the contract as is, given it was paid in full several months ago after the job was completed.

We certainly understand this customer's frustration, but we have no documentation on our end to show that the project should have included two different colors. The documentation that both parties have shows only one color. Therefore, we cannot re-do the job without charging for it.

We absolutely stand behind our work. We have an excellent reputation in the Corpus Christi community. We regret that this client had this experience with us but hold firm in the belief that we should not re-do the job without charging unless we have documentation that shows the job was done incorrectly.
