Natural Flooring

I talked with Tim before pouring the slab for our new house. He stayed in contact throughout the process and did a great job cutting artwork into the entry floor and turning the entire 3200 sq. ft. slab into a beautiful floor. He also finished a large garage floor and added stained accent stripes and sealer to a large driveway area. Tim is a very creative and talented artist and along with his crew he has the expertise and professionalism to execute his ideas in concrete. Of the many contractors, I used in building our house, he is one of the few I would use again without reservation.

Tim and David did our living room, office hall and dining room. It took 2 tries, but they worked very hard to get us what we wanted. They are artists, so they work artists hours. They do their best to give you what you want.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! We were definitely deceived by online pictures posted on their website of their proclaimed experience. We read the reviews, interviewed these guys thoroughly in person, and in-depth communication of what we wanted. We were naive to trust their online reputation because for 18 years doing concrete they couldn't lead us to not one former customer to see their work. Red flag #1. Red flag #2 was when these guys said "we don't like you here until the end". There is a reason for that. They don't want you to see the damage work and leave with your money. Red Flag #3, requiring 70% of your money before completion. They left our home in horrible shape. We were in disbelief how horrible our stain floors came out. Overspray acid stain on the baseboards, sheetrock walls, electrical outlets, interior doors, window seals. This cost us additional time and money to correct and not just in floors but whole house damage. No protection barriers was placed on walls or floors as stated on their contract. The worst stain job we have ever seen and many others looked in horror at our floors as well. If you are wanting to stain concrete on an exisiting house or business floor, DO NOT use these guys who are not equipped to do it. Every imperfection showed up in our staining process. Carpet strips, existing grout lines, cabinet outlines, blotchy stain work that was of no uniform color. We have had stained concrete floors for over 10 years and loved it, but this workmanship was horrible. To date, we have not been refunded our deposit or damages and Tim ignores our emails for full refund. With BBB complaint, they CLAIMED the job wasn't finished even though they told us they were done and final seal was left day before move-in date. All they talk about is "work of art" but we got "work of horror". By all means PM us if you would like to see tons of pictures of our work by Tim and David. We have flipped 6 homes, stained floors ourselves, and built 2 new construction homes. This was, by far, the worst subcontractors we have ever worked with it in all our years in construction. I am so excited that Tim will be staining our floors soon! I contacted him last year when we were still in the planning stage of our new home. He was extremely informative and helpful. I asked if I could see any floors that he had created and he invited me to the location he was working on right then. It was beautiful! He explained the process, pointed out features to me and answered every question I through his way. He had such a great energy and love of his work! I can't exactly say how I want my floors to look yet but I am confident Tim will be able to create my vision when we begin collaborating! I'll be sure to update when it's all done.

I met with Tim a week after my slab was poured. I did not know the first thing about staining a whole house but he had all the answers to my questions. I stayed in touch with him through the building process. He started his work right after the sheet rock was textured. I tried to keep the floors clean but in fact they really got bad. Tim did what he calls a super clean and was it ever. Wow he got the floors like brand new. He then scored the concrete like we wanted. He scored our dinning and game room to look like wood. He then stained the entire house and covered it in paper to allow for the trim and paint work. A week before move in he cleaned the floor again and gave it a final buff. It is truly amazing. I do not plan on building another house any time soon but if I did I would use him again.

Tim McEvoy is an artist. He is truly passionate about his work. The pricing is competitive and quality is amazing. I've recommended Natural Flooring to my clients interested in stained concrete for the last 4 years. Natural Flooring has completed at least 15 jobs for me during that time frame. Highly recommended.

Tim did the floors in our entire house. He is a blast to work with, and just an amazing, passionate artist. And he truly is an artist. While building our home I worked with many contractors. I must say Tim is at the top of my list for quality of work and customer service. We love our floors and have people tell us all the time they have never seen such beautiful concrete work. I reccomend him 100%!

The artist behind this company is extremely talented and dedicated to his work. He takes the time to understand his clients needs and goes above and beyond to achieve those goals. He has a very creative eye for color, layouts and just an amazing artistic ability in creating one of a kind floors that completely transform an interior space.
