Steve Teich worked with my husband and I on a total new house design. The project began in July 2013 and ended in March 2015. It was an emotional experience for us because we were rebuilding our home after losing it to a fire. Steve was extremely professional and wonderfully creative to work with. He was also sensitive to our situation and helped us navigate between recreating a house we had loved while at the same time updating it in significant ways to make it cleaner and more contemporary. His eye is impeccable, his resources are excellent and his support staff is strong. He is open to his client's ideas but is always ready to make a necessary and apt critique. We loved working with Steve and would do it again.

I interviewed numerous designers from the Design Center in Troy, MI and decided to hire the Teich Group from Royal Oak, MI. Hiring the Teich Group was the best decision I could have possibly made. Both designer, Steve, and the project manager, Traci, are very professional and attentive to details. Steve's design sketches were very creative and easy to visualize. Which made it difficult to decide which one to use, because whichever I chose would be beautiful. The on time performance, delivery and installation was meticulously scheduled. Every employee was an expert in their field. The Teich Group was very accommodating and made this dinning room project stress free for my entire family. Have worked with Steve for over 25 years - 5 homes and one office - I keep coming back to the Teich Group - love Stanley and Tracey for double digit years too ! The Teich group has decorated several residences in our family ranging in ages from early 20s to mid 80s. Locations have included a condo in downtown Chicago, an apartment in East Lansing, an award-winning log cabin home in Northern Michigan, a country home in Clarkston, a Bloomfield Township home, a lakeside home in Highland and a home built in 1957 in West Bloomfield, requiring significant updating, and Florida home that needed finishing touches. With a variety of owners and ages this group is capable of capturing the uniqueness of a setting and the tastes of the owners. The most recent challenge was a country estate in a wooded lake setting. The final result can only be described as quiet elegance. What a contrast to the East Lansing apartment for a young single techie..that one was minimalist ready for the next college party. When the homes go on the market, they sell immediately, whether up North or downstate because of the visual beauty these designers create. Most importantly, they finish every single project, hanging pictures, finding beautiful accents. When invited to open house after a Teich project is completed, I wonder where this decorating ingenuity will take me this time. Always tasteful, always, befitting the owner. What a treat!
