I ordered a small side table for almost $500 with a marble top through a designer who used Surya. The top arrived broken and it's been 3mon and no replacement has arrived. This is poor quality and poor customer service. Would never purchase from this company again.

Ordered items from Surya which were shipped to us and weighed 7lbs but were in quite big boxes. They weren’t exactly what we wanted so we returned them. The cost was $250 in shipping plus the ridiculous reshelving fee of 15%. So for an $800+ product that wasn’t what we wanted, we essentially paid a $300 fee. Does any other furniture company do that? Absolutely not. Do not buy furniture from Surya unless you are 100% certain you plan to keep it. They have the worst return policy of any furniture company for products that are not custom made. That is the definition of bad customer service.

I absolutely agree with Ray. Paid over $1000 for a silk rug that started unraveling in less than a year—it looks terrible. And the rug is in a low traffic area. Customer service is negligent —contacted them (with proof) of purchase and am being given the run around. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Spend your money on a brand that stands behind their product.

If you are looking for a company that stands behind the quality of workmanship in their product, avoid Surya. Our purchase has never played flat. We have tried for months to find a professional solution and have exhausted all options. A warranty of 60 days on workmanship is ridiculous and I'd encourage all potential buyers to seek another brand that actually stands behind their product. The fact that they didn't even respond to try and help resolve the situation speaks volumes about their lack of quality and customer service focus.

I ordered the Surya Tulemola TUL-4006 5' x 7'6" Rug from seeing a photo on-line. The rug arrived promptly and the colors and design is beautiful. Because it is wool, it will last a long time.

They're an amazing source to find gorgeous and well-made area rugs in every size, color, pattern, and style under the rainbow. Their customer service is superb, and they really go the extra mile in providing quality goods and service every step of the way.
