Stephen Collins Interior Design (SCID Pty. Ltd.) is a Sydney-based studio, specialising in interior architecture, building design and furniture design. The studio's work is renowned for bridging creative and practical solutions, with aesthetically resolved detail. The director, Stephen Collins, has 25 years of experience and has won many design awards from various institutes including The Royal Australian Institute of Architects NSW Chapter, The Design Institute of Australia, and the SIDA. At the Australian Interior Design Awards, on May 31st 2013, the practice was awarded Best of State Residential Interior Design 2013 for the Surry Hills Warehouse project – published in Vogue Living July/August, 2013. The company is experienced in Residential, Commercial, Hospitality, Retail, Corporate and Furniture design. It has worked with many building types and styles of 19th and 20th Century, involving restoration, alterations & additions, building reuse and new building design.
