Sivan Windows and Doors

After the order hiccup, credit to Sivan for agreeing to acknowledge the problem and resolve the issue in a fair and reasonable manner.

I ordered several sliding door and windows it rooked them several month to get the widows I paid everything except the 10% which I should pay when every thing is satisfied. However one sliding door was opening from left instead the right side . They told me they are reordering and when is ready they call me to instal and replace..is not done yet. And they when to my bank acct and took $1200 that was available, with no notice . I still owe them 250. Don’t GIVE THEM ANY BANK INFORMATION

I purchased 3 windows and 2 sliding glass doors at the end of March 2021. The installation date was July 2021. The installers broke several tiles, did a horrible job caulking around the windows, broke a window screen, failed to install the 2 slider screens, left their trash, wood clippings, and drinks scattered inside and around my townhome, and damaged walls. They did not finish in one day, so they left my home open to the 95 degree heat for weeks. They did not spray enough foam spray around the openings, so we could pass things through the openings on all windows. The strike plate was even left loose on the sliding door that opens to a main street, so there were security concerns. The company sent several other people out to try to remedy the situation, who all agreed that the quality of work was below standard. It's shocking that these people are in business. The silicone caulking looked as if a child tried to decorate a cake. They tried to repair the issues, but I still have open concerns and it is December 2021. The sliding doors let in so much noise from the outside, even though they were supposed to be sound reducing. It is almost as if they funnel the noise and they make the noise from outside louder than if you had them open. Dirt and wind come in and make the curtains blow. I am constantly cleaning up debris on the inside of the sliding doors. Milgard came out and fixed the loose strike plate that the installer did not tighten enough. They also put in plugs on the top of the sliding doors to try to close the gap but the plugs have started to fall out, so it will be a never-ending issue. The doors and windows are too small for the openings, so the problems will continue. Sivan has responded poorly all the way through. Each person I talk to blames someone else. No one seems to communicate from department to department. They sent a capable installer to try to finally finish the installation on September 4. He took out one window, centered it, and reinstalled it. On the rest, he finished the foil wrapping, added spray foam, and tried to clean up the mistakes that were make with the caulking, but he wasn't able to fix everything. For example, the original installer had broken some of my kitchen tiles, and he tried to fix it, but used the wrong color grout and cut the tile too thin, so it stands out completely. I did not have the extra tiles for the floor tiles they broke, so they covered that up with a metal piece. Once things are done poorly, it is difficult to fix everything. It should have been done correctly from the beginning. The last I heard from them, they were to come out November 6 to finally install the screens, but no one showed up! Then I got a call saying they would come today to repair the screen that is ripped, but they don't have the missing screens. I do not want a repaired screen, I would like what I paid for - a new screen! There are numerous other issues with billing. Do not use this company!

The best experience I've had with a contractor in a long time. This window installation company was highly efficient, motivated and professional. Sivan Windows did a fantastic job for our company and I would highly recommend them! Our property management company interviewed nearly a dozen window replacement companies to replace all windows and sliding glass doors at four different apartment buildings in the West San Gabriel Valley. We went with Sivan because of their knowledge, reputation, and price. We met Roi of Sivan Windows during the bidding process. He seemed knowledgeable and honest, both of which turned out to be true. One of the things we liked about both him and the company is that they referred us to a couple different window manufacturers, without pushing one or the other. They didn’t sell us on a particular window brand, which many window replacement companies, if they manufacture, sell only theirs. Sivan communicated well throughout the replacement process. In the end, we replaced nearly 600 windows and 100 sliding glass doors. They followed the schedule closely, leaving resident disruption to a minimum. If there was a mistake or a snag that was their fault, they owned it and made it right in the end. We are very happy that we completed the window replacements of all four buildings within a matter of months – it wouldn’t have happened without Sivan!

I would highly recommend Sivan Windows and Doors given their professionalism and my experience with them. Salesman Jim was able to answer all my questions and was able to provide and negotiate a reasonable quote for Premium Windows and Milgard. I chose to go with Premium Windows given the quality, cost and reviews. Once I placed order for 2 sliding doors and 6 windows, the customer service and follow up was very professional. I added another window later to the order and they were able to accommodate it with the price adjustment on the order. The windows and doors were available within 10 days of ordering and were ready to be installed. I had to delay installation due to pending approval from my HOA but Sivan team was very patient and recommended me to wait until the formalities were complete. Installation crew Ernesto & Ernesto were very friendly and professional and were able to install and haul away 2 doors and 7 windows in about 9 hours (same day). Also, they helped with removing the blinds and putting them back once the installation was complete. Sivan representatives called me next day to ensure if all went well and if I was satisfied with their service and quality. Its been more than 2 weeks since the installation and there have been no issues and I'm completely satisfied with the new doors and windows.

We have been considering changing our windows for several years now. We finally made the decision early this year and were referred by a friend to Sivan Windows. All it took was one phone call and we had a sales representative, Jimmy, at our house a few days after. Jimmy was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We placed the order the same day with Jimmy's help. In a couple weeks time, the measurements were taken and the order was on it's way. Sivan also assisted us with obtaining all required building permits and HOA approvals. During the installation process we worked with Peter who was always courteous and provided timely and detailed responses. When the work was completed Ms. Guadalupe helped us through the financial and closeout process. Ms. Guadalupe was very caring and polite everytime we spoke. She and and the entire team have been wonderful to work with and it made our entire experience worthwhile. We love our new windows and couldn't have asked for a better company and people to work with.

very unprofessional. they are. joke when it comes to customer service and installation issues. when paying for installation, you expect to have a competent installer. please look elsewhere. they are a rip-off.
