More Architecture got involved in our renovation of a pre-famine cottage in Offaly just after the planning stage as our original architect was unable to proceed further with us and we we're looking for a better standard of service. I couldn't recommend More Architecture enough. From the start it was clear that the level of professionalism and attention to detail was going to be second to none and Ian and the team didn't disappoint. Ian provided the perfect balance of listening to our ideas and vision and directing us on what was good design. Despite having to work from our original sketches Ian still was able to adapt the design and bring ideas that made the end result a truly beautiful home. We reached out to More Architecture during the summer as we were looking for an architect for a self-build. Following the free initial consultation with Rory (which was massively beneficial and informative) we knew we wanted to go with the guys. The attention to the detail is what impressed us most. We had a rough idea what we wanted and when the lads came back with the initial concept we instantly loved it. The guys have an amazing ability to turn your thoughts into reality. The the last 2-3 months working with Ian and Rory has been a really enjoyable process even though we are working with tight deadlines and we cannot wait to bring this project to life with them.

Having decided to build, I meet with More Architecture for a free consultation. I first met with Rory, and within an hour of the first meeting, I decided to trust the lads and on their suggestion got them to do a concept drawing. I found all involved to be very agreeable, a detailed breakdown of costings and no pressure as to how much or how little involvement the lads were to have. I gave them a comprehensive wish list which would be near impossible to accomplish and from the first draft they got it perfect, they certainly listen to the client and then add there own expertise. I usually do not leave reviews, but for two reasons I have, firstly they deserve the recognition for the for me, it was a huge decision to put my trust and money into a firm who would ultimately have responsibility for designing a home. I want to give my honest opinion of how the lads made the process very relaxed and stress-free and the whole process an enjoyable one.

My husband and I contacted More Architecture to help us get started with our forever home as we had absolutely no idea where to begin or how the whole process worked. We met Rory for a free consultation initially and straight away we had a better idea of where to go and what was possible for us. On the back of this we hired them to do the initial designs for our house and we were delighted with the concept design booklet they presented to us. We felt they really put in a lot of time and effort to design a beautiful house for us while keeping things realistic (for planning applications) and within the planned budget. They have always been prompt with replies and easy to contact, we highly recommend them!

We have been thinking about a re-model of the living areas and flow of our house for some time now. While not urgent, if we decide to take this step it is important that the outcome will justify the expense. Sometimes engaging with an architect can be a difficult step, so an initial consultation is a good way to find if the architect is right for you. My wife and I recently spent an incredibly worthwhile hour with Rory and Ian of More Architecture as we discussed our potential project. It is an interesting dynamic to watch the boys bouncing ideas and teasing them out, and throughout the consultation process bringing a contemporary and fresh angle to something we had spent a long time thinking and stressing over. During the consultation Rory and Ian brought some amazing ideas and I would not hesitate in recommending More Architecture fully and completely, they were a pleasure to deal with and we hope to complete the project with them in the near future.

I came across these two lads by chance and they really opened my eyes to the world of architecture. Ian and Rory compliment each other brilliantly and I felt straight away valued and with all their experience, they challenged me on my brief design and made me think of a house for the future rather than present. The concept design has excelled beyond what I could imagine and that is credit to both Ian and Rory for their dedication and the result is I have a dream home.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Rory and Ian. I have had no experience working with architects and had no idea what to expect, the guys made me feel at ease straight away with their extremely professional approach. They are straight talking and very diligent, they worked very hard on my project. They managed to stretch my budget to meet our brief and the result is more than I could have ever hoped for.

Having had no previous experience with architects, I didn't know what to expect, however when I met Ian & Rory I felt at ease in their company & knew we'd work well together. I explained what I was looking for & they listened, delivering a design concept that is practical & sensitive to my budget & the existing house & environment. The lads are professional, creative, honest & straight to the point. I highly recommend them as they deliver on their promise & have a wicked sense of humour to boot. Ian & Rory are two of the best & it's being a privilege to work with them.

Rory and Ian are extremely professional in their approach, and came up with a project proposal that was just as we asked. Rory took the time to talk us through the concept design in such detail that it was very obvious they had really listened to what is important to us. Would have no hesitation to recommend.

Ian did a fantastic job on our cottage renovation. Ian really listened to what we needed and what style we liked. He worked the house to the best of its ability. We were amazed at his idea when he came to us with the first drawings. I couldn't recommend him enough.
