Rhino Shield of Michigan

Horrible company. We gave him a deposit, have a contract which they will not honor now. We told the salesman that we needed to do some work prior and he said no problem, take all the time you need. Now that we are ready the owner says they will not honor the contract (which has no date on it) and has to reprice the job because the cost of material went up. Meanwhile he kept and made interest on our large deposit. I thought in this state and country, a contract was valid. Now he has his attorney in on his scam. If you go to yelp, he has done this to several other people. I can’t imagine this guy’s karma. Can’t be good. I’m a nurse and do not have that kind of money to just throw away. It will take me sooo many shifts to make this up. I’m heartbroken that this can happen I just hope he stops getting away with this. I have the contract to prove what I’m saying is true.

My home and garage with rough-sawn cedar T-1-11 siding was "Rhinoed" in Sept 2015. The biggest problem had been chronic mold. Bleach would take it away for awhile, but the mold always returned. Although it is really too soon to tell, my fingers are crossed that this product will solve that big problem. The only negative is the cost, 3x a regular paint job, but well worth it if the product longevity pans out, and a bargain! if it takes care of mold problem. I could not be more pleased with my crew (Amadeo and Victor) and the beautiful job they did. Amadeo was very knowledgable, communicated everything about the job, was always there as promised, performed beyond expectations with craftmenship on wood repairs and prep, never rushed the work, demonstrated the utmost professionalism all the way. They went the extra mile with detail work on gutters and light fixtures. I cannot say enough good things. I LOVE them, and I hope the product measures up to the standard they set. UPDATE, October 2018: The Rhino product has held up just fine, but unfortunately it was NOT a solution for the mold problem. It appeared again last year, and after cleaning as recommended with TSP last fall, it has returned with a vengeance again this year. Very disappointing, but I realize it wasn’t guaranteed for that., but was lead to believe the product would not support mold like regular paint. Have to take away 1 star. Expensive experiment.

Rhino Shield of Michigan is fabulous! That includes the salespeople, the work crew, the office staff (owner) and especially the product. We were notified with the start date and the color selections were verified. They were on-site earlier than originally planned and the job they did was excellent. Our ugly, yellowish color brick house (which I've hated for the 32 yrs. we've lived there) was transformed into the best looking house on the block! I couldn't believe I was at the right address, it looked so good! We did make an error on the shutter color, and they were back to re-do them quite quickly. We are totally satisfied and highly recommend Rhino Shield. Several of our friends have also had Rhino Shield applied to their homes and they are all equally satisfied!
