It wouldn't allow zero stars but that is how I wanted to rate them! Terrible service, terrible communication, terrible work. The only thing that was good was how fast he came by to work on a quote. Job included fescue sod installation (meant for shade yards) and grading (to get rid of ponding in the yard) in my backyard. He no showed on scheduled work date. He no showed on the 2nd scheduled work date. He performed grading a week before sod installation against my wishes; his crew showed up and did the grading work while I was not home after I communicated I wanted all the work done on the same day. Multiple rain/thunderstorms washed it away before sod was installed a week later. During the week I waited for sod, while I had a dirt yard and it rained repeatedly, you can imagine what my life was like with 2 dogs! The plan for payment was that he would invoice me so there was no need to be home when the work was complete. When work was complete (a couple weeks after initial schedule date) he demanded payment that day. After all that, he refused to give me a discount. I refused to pay the full amount and discounted myself by paying him 10% less that the full invoice. Had I known that the sod would start to die 1 month after installation, I would have paid him nothing. He has since refused to correct anything. He also stated that he told me the sod would not survive, which did NOT happen. Through multiple communications, most of which were through e-mail and text, he not once warned me that the sod would die. I have asked him for information on where and when he purchased my fescue sod so I could investigate why the sod did not survive but he has refused my request. This leaves me wondering if he even installed the correct sod. I still have ponding in my yard as well. During the one month I had grass that was alive, the yard was a mushy swamp with puddles everywhere.

I had a small job of installing pavers for our front walkway and small patio area. Nevertheless I got terrific service. They were easy to communicate with. They were timely, neat and hard-working. The end product is beautiful and of excellent quality. They enhanced the value of our house by improving curb appeal. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Premier Landscaping. I've had several projects including a hardscape brick wall seating area with designed landscape surrounding it in my back yard, my front yard landscape redesigned due to the loss of huge pine trees from a wind storm, and much needed lighting in both my front and back yard. The work ethic is unbelievable, the creative design ideas are both practical and affordable, and the quality of the trees, shrubs, etc. are amazing. Chad and his team are easy to work with, the projects are completed on time, and always do an excellent clean-up upon completion of the project.

Chad and his team did a great job doing the landscaping at my house. During a recent windstorm we had 4 large pine trees fall and wreak havoc on my backyard. Premier was able to clear my yard replace the fallen pines with arborvitaes and transplant my lilac bushes. The team communicated well and worked with my schedule, will definitely be using them for future projects.

Chad and his crew just recently completed a very large backyard landscape project complete with brick paver patio, fireplace, plants, shrubs and sod. It was a complete backyard overhaul. We were beyond pleased with his professionalism from start to finish. Chad had met with us on several different occasions to verify our needs and wants. He and his landscape architect designed a backyard landscape that met all of our expectations and functionality. As with any large project, unexpected alterations are bound to occur. Thankfully, only one of these "surprises" came up. Shortly after the fireplace retaining wall was complete, Chad found that the slope behind it was too great. In order to achieve an aesthetic and natural look, Chad came up with a few creative ideas in order to accommodate this drastic slope. He communicated well with us all of our options. I appreciate his work and the attention to detail. We have used several landscape companies for our other homes over the years. We would highly recommend Premier Landscaping for all of our landscaping needs. In fact, we will ask Premier Landscaping to overhaul our front yard next year.

Just finished a $21,000 landscape job for us in Plymouth, MI Pros Provided a detailed plan Started job on time Poet me at nursery to select some trees and plants Did a Beautiful job on our brick pavers Cons Did not communicate well after job started Significantly increased quote without discussing with us Did not listen to the customers requests or concerns through process Tried to charge us for items he said he would do at no cost Left our weeping cherry tree to die, was supposed to transplant it Left the job unfinished Wanted to be paid in cash, requested payment in three installments. (Did get a discount for cash payment) Over charged us for plants for example rose shrubs cost $17.50, we were charged $50 I would recommend Premier for brick paver work, but would steer clear of landscaping. Put down wrong color of mulch (had them correct it) Again, I would recommend for brick pavers, but that's about it.
