Merle , Katie and their excellent crew completely transformed our tiny, boring front yard into a little gem that our neighbours seem to love almost as much as we do. We interviewed several so called 'landscape artists' before we met Merle and Katie Kroeker at PACIFIC RIDGE LANDSCAPES. We knew right away these were the people we wanted to work with. They listened, they suggested, they consulted, they produced and together, we created a design that is unique, more than what we had envisioned and we love our very private oasis and water feature.They were on time always, they were courteous and pleasant to deal with, and they came in on budget too! Recently we called them again to make some changes and add a garden path, and this time we found they had grown their business. We were delighted to see that they have chosen, not hired, artisans like themselves to be part of their landscape team. We watched as they worked as though they were creating a work of art...and for us that is exactly what happened. We are again thrilled with the results. For anyone wanting landscaping done, water features, consultation about what to put where and why, anywhere in their garden, PACIFIC RIDGE will not disappoint, but they may well exceed expectations.

Pacific Ridge completed a comprehensive landscaping transformation on our home on Shore Acres in Sidney and the results speak for themselves. From the initial consultation, project planning, and execution, Pacific Ridge intuitively knew what we wanted and were not only able to translate our requirements into a tangible plan, but also execute that plan with an outstanding degree of precision and professionalism. Throughout the project, Katie and Merle maintained an excellent grasp of requirements including schedule and budget, engaging us on a regular basis to advise of the project progress and to make minor adjustments as required without any surprises. Their attention to detail was simply outstanding from the careful selection of a variety low maintenance plantings to the thoughtful design and construction of two pergolas, interlocking brick patio, walkways and a natural gas fire pit that complemented our home. They not only ticked all the boxes to achieve our vision of a relaxed outdoor living space, but also created an inviting outdoor area that focussed the ocean views that we will enjoy for many years to come. We would highly endorse Pacific Ridge for any landscape project of varying size and complexity.

We had Pacific Ridge Landscaping undertake a major renovation of our half acre property that hadn't enjoyed much landscape love over the last few years. We were very impressed by Merle, Katie and their crew. Their vision, plan, and execution were all spot on. The budget was also followed to the penny. We are absolutely thrilled with what Pacific Ridge Landscapes did in our yard! We found Merle by fluke and are so thankful that we did. Our yard was a bit difficult to work with as it was a fairly steep slope, but what Pacific Ridge designed for us has turned an essentially unusable backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space. Merle was great to deal with; the process was easy from start to finish and we felt comfortable with him immediately. Throughout the project, you could see the attention to detail (I am VERY particular!) and we really liked that he saw the process through from initial design to completion, with the end result being better than we could have imagined. The project was completed on budget and on a timely basis with minimal disruption to neighbours (important to us as we live in a strata). We contracted Prairie Ridge Landscapes to design and develop the yard of our newly built home. They provided design expertise in addition to the actual implementation of the job. Some of the work they did personally (placing blocks, planting, moving dirt, mulch, etc), and other services they arranged, such as concrete work, lighting and irrigation, moving a large spruce with a tree spade. Throughout the process they were very good to work with, flexible with their time. Merle oversees the project personally, is on site throughout, very approachable. We had a lot of input into the project. A lot of opportunity to add on, make changes. Katherine even sourced some fabulous house numbers for us. Overall we were very happy, and look forward to enjoying the space.

Merle and Katherine are a phenomenal team with innovative and creative ideas. What I value, which is so clearly seen in their portfolio, is there good taste and judgement. I have recommended them to a number of friends and have heard nothing but praise and gratitude. No hesitation in recommending them!

Our experience with Prairie Ridge Landscapes was beyond our expectations. Merle and Katherine's design and construction ability was evident in the initial on-site meeting. They listened to our "wants" and "wishes" and knowledgeably recommended and implemented materials into our landscape. Their professionalism was found throughout their entire team. Even when issues did arise they always offered a number of solutions that they skillfully executed. They completely stand behind their workmanship, as on one occasion, without hesitation, they were back to our property to quickly remedy a slight imperfection caused by another contractor. Our project was completed as scheduled, much to our surprise considering the amount of work and detail. The Prairie Ridge Landscapes sign still stands in plain view because we continue to receive numerous compliments.
