Mirage Hardwood Floors

Looking for a white oak floor with no knots and streaks, I purchased a box (23 sq ft) of the Mirage "White Oak Natural Exclusive" to determine if the color and quality meet my needs before buying 1800 sq ft. ALL SHORT PIECES: The Mirage specs indicate that the flooring will range from 20" to 82" in length. The longest piece I received was 53" and all of the remaining pieces are shorter than 28". And 4 pieces are less than 18" which is below their specification. The quality and color of the floor would be perfect for my new home, but the pieces are too short. The grade appears to be "select" or better, meaning there is no "character" or no knots and no streaks, which is what I am searching to find. I can't recommend Mirage if they lack oversight in their manufacturing, and ship product that does not meet their own published specifications.
