Medallion Cabinetry

Do not buy Medallion cabinets, they are pretty but are absolutely shite. Poorly made in China not U.S. and the reviews on their site don’t reflect customer views but business reviews. We went with them through our designer because of the style and color options but have had to replace 80% of doors and 2 cabinets, one of which is now on its 3rd reorder. Cabinets came packaged in corner foam that rubbed the paint off, not to mention the paint flexing off, damaged corners, etc… oh and because from China each reorder takes about 4 months.

I spent $12,000 on cabinets and the ones in my laundry room I got in a box at Home Depot are 100% better quality! Complete rip off, these are extremely cheap! DO NOT waste your money!

Just received my Medallion cabinetry and very disappointed as the edges of my hood are chipped and you can see there were production line issues. Lots of spray paint is needed for 2 areas. I'm concerned for the longevity of the cabinets as they seem very frail. We assumed Medallion made a quality product so trusted my Designer. I'm still waiting on replacement parts that will arrive in February.Our installer said we had one of the best shipments of Medallion cabinetry. I find this hard to believe. My recommendation is to skip Medallion and save your money.

Very poor quality! Finish on cabinet not good miters coming apart at corners split frames and pullouts Drawers not lining up. Do not purchase

Medallion cabinets are beautiful and are sold at a reasonable price. However, their claim of a lifetime warranty is just not correct. Our 8 year old cabinets are delaminating....the cover is coming off the wood cabinets and they have the audacity to claim that this is wear and tear? Their laminating process is flawed and they continue to present their product as duarble and lifelong. Beware, I would not purchase cabinets from Medallion again and you should listen to the many negative reviews and not deal with this company until they honestly stand behing their warranty and improve their process.

installed Medallion Cabinets in our kitchen remodel. 4 years later the bottoms of the panel doors are blistering and peeling. We were told the warranty was void because water caused the problem. These cabinets were installed under our kitchen sink, next to our dishwasher, and around our prep island. All places subject to normal wear and tear. The occasional spill is to be expected in a kitchen. Essentially, they are saying that any kitchen usage voids the warranty because water can spill in a kitchen. Beware, these cabinets are not designed for their intended use and you will regret it. Customer service's response was the warranty was voided an one shouldn't install them anywhere they might be exposed to moisture. I asked why they were selling them as kitchen cabinets and they did not respond

Please heed the many warnings below regarding Medallion Cabinets. Like so many others who have written reviews here, I've had an awful experience. I spent about $10,000 on Silverline Avalon cabinets in 2014. Many arrived damaged, and were initially replaced by our vendor. The replacements then proceeded to peel and fray within weeks of installation. The cabinets today are unsightly, and detract from an otherwise lovely kitchen. I reached out to Medallion regarding its warranty. They initially reviewed photos and claimed the fraying and peeling and warping was "normal wear and tear." I insisted that I would never have purchased cabinets knowing they would age so poorly under normal conditions. After much back and forth, Medallion sent out a rep to review the cabinets. When the rep arrived, he immediately acknowledged that the cabinets should not look they way they do. This isn't water damage or damage from an abrasive product; it's poor design and construction. The rep agreed to replace the doors. Imagine my disappointment when after not hearing back for two weeks, I received a forwarded email from Medallion stating AGAIN that they would not honor the warranty because they believed the cabinets poor condition was a result of normal wear and tear. Please be wary if considering Medallion Cabinets. I'm sure you do not want to invest your money in a company that expects its products to look like the attached photo under normal conditions and will not honor its warranty.

I had Medallion Cabinets installed 6 years ago in a large kitchen remodel. They are pretty and I do like them. However they do not stand behind their product. I have 2 door fronts with bubbling and peeling. I was told it was my fault as the doors are under my kitchen sink! I am sorry but what?!! I was told I was essentially soaking the door fronts with water and steam from my dishwasher without even taking a look! I have a large deep sink. No water getting splashed. My dishwasher is new and does not get hot on the outside. I think I would know if water was getting splashed on my hardwood floors and feet! Please. Come see that there is absolutely no water damage on my floors! I WOULD NOT recommend to anyone to spend their money on a company who won't even bother to see what the issue might be. Highly disappointed that I spent so much money and this company treats their customers so rudely.

We have a big kitchen with lots of cabinets. One was damaged and it was replaced within a month. I am thrilled with the quality and construction.

Awful cabinets and obviously no quality control. One of the uppers, the holes for the pins that hold the shelf do not line up. So the shelf wobbles. Missing a shelf for a cabinet. The screw for the slider on the garbage cabinet is stripped out, so that's all over the place. 2 of the doors do not slow close. There is a screw threw the edge of one of the uppers. Bottom of one of the uppers is marred up. Bottom turn table on the lazy susan hits the back of the cabinet and won't turn all the way around. One of the finished sides is rippled. Didnt get touch up paint for the uppers as we did the lowers. I hope I get a chance to post the pictures here.

I waited years to renovate my kitchen. Project started April 2021 and it's still not done!! If I could give Medallion 0 stars i would! DO NOT BUY MEDALLION they do not stand by their product!!! White Shaker Cabinets arrived with inconsistent texture and defects. Took weeks to get replacement doors and they were just as bad! Now an outside company is trying to fix/repaint the damaged doors because Medallion basically said, "Oh well, tough". So now the whites don't match and they're redoing again. I ordered the cabinets through my contractor who uses NorthEast Kitchen Center out of Bridgeport CT. The sales rep informed me they're having "quality control issues!" Then why did you sell me Medallion?! I paid a fortune for crap and the job still isn't done.
