Defined Space Staging and Decorating

I moved into a new townhouse back in Aug 2019. I knew it needed a fresh coat of paint, so off I went and bought the colours that I've stuck with for years. Took the time to carefully paint the entire first floor and....YUCK! It looked HORRIBLE. But I didn't know why, and I didn't know what would look better. I also knew my furniture didn't look great, but again had no idea why or what would look better. I found Lorraine on Houzz and liked the pictures of the work she had done in the past. So for the first time in my life I decided to hire a professional to help me decorate. Lorraine visited to help me out of my mess (this was well before COVID). She learned details about what I like and don't like and started developing a plan of attack . At the end of the appointment she casually said "and you want to paint everything in Sherwin Williams Shiitake, except for the far wall in the living room which should be **can't remember the colour**". So I went to work re-painting the first floor all over again. And it looks STUNNING!! It's a colour I would never have dreamed of, but it works perfectly. Since then Lorraine has helped me choose light fixtures, window coverings, and an area rug. She also gave me direction on living room furniture that helped me choose pieces that look amazing. I highly recommend Lorraine if you're trying to figure out your personal style and colours, and what would work for you.
