Lori was our dream designer! She has knowledge, skills, artistic vision - and listens with patience and diligence. Unlike other experiences with "pros", Lori would not keep showing us the same types of items we had said we did not like. She did not demand that I stick with what was currently in fashion, simply because it was In. She listened to my mishmash of what I imagined, what my husband and had vetoed, and what we could not quite put into words. Lori was so organized, captured the thread of our messy ideas, and wove it into something beyond our expectations! We love our colors, styles, and the layer of finishing the window treatmants gave to our home. (And privacy!). Friends walk in and comment on our pretty windows. Lori helped us dress all of the windows in our newly completed home. She was very knowledgeable, courteous, professional and easy to work with. With two children, one of which is a toddler, it would have been difficult to go to a showroom to look at samples. It was great that she brought all of those with her so that we could match them to our home decor and colors. She was able to easily assess the window covering needs of each room and our style. She also came to check on the install to manage any necessary adjustments. Great customer service and I would highly recommend Lori and Smith and Noble to anyone considering window covering options.

I have been a Smith & Noble customer for years, and have always been impressed with the quality of their products. This was my first experience working with one of their designers, and I could not be happier with the results! Lori was so wonderful to work with. She really understood the look I was hoping for, and helped me choose fabrics and styles that turned out to be perfect. She took care of all the measuring and ordering. My new roman shades and drapery are gorgeous--the perfect finishing touch to my living room and kitchen areas.

Lori came to my home to help me design a valance for one room and curtains for the guest room. She arrived on time and came prepared with all the materials I was hoping to see. We easily settled on a fabric for the valance. The guest room was more challenging due to the pattern on the bedding. Lori was patient while we went through fabric after fabric to find one that worked. She was as determined as I to find a perfect look. We finally decided on a beautiful fabric, thanks to her creative vision.

Lori was pleasant, professional, and extremely knowledgable. She really helped me define the vision I had, and she was very sensitive to my budget and taste. Since I wasn't ready to go all out on my window treatments at this time, she recommended doing a Phase I that I can be very happy with for now, and then later on I can finish the project with Phase 2. I really appreciated her flexibility! Lori was great to work with, and I highly recommend her.
