Michelle has a natural talent for design that makes her stand out. Her use of color and texture immediately demand attention but it is her consideration of small details that bring a room to life. She draws you in to a space and it's so comfortable, so right, you never want to leave. Michelle carefully listened to the our wants, our needs and our preferences. With that information in mind, she was able to draw on her experience and knowledge of design to transform our living space into a functional yet visually appealing reflection of our own taste and style. She transformed our vision into reality. We couldn't be happier!

I have been in my house for almost 20 years and had decided I would stay and update rather than move. I have done a lot of things to my house over the years but never got it quite where I liked. I hired Michelle with Addison Design to help me figure out a way to make the main level of my house better for entertaining. She was able to come up with a relatively simple solution that completely transformed my kitchen. She did the same thing in my living room. Along with the minor structural changes, she had great ideas for furniture, picture and rug placement. The investment in her service was so worth it. I have not been happy with my house in a long time. I am well on my way to getting everything just the way I want it!. Thank you Michelle.

Michelle created the most amazing kitchen design for us! I could not be happier with the results. We invested about $90K in our project and her fee was nominal but gave the entire project life and vitality. I had never used a designer before so was not sure what to expect but am so happy that we did. Our contractor and cabinet maker said, at the end of the project, that Michelle was really the one who gave it the unique feel and that it would not have looked so unique to us without her contribution. It was by far, the best investment that we made in our project.

I hired Addison Design to plan and fabricate the window treatments on the second floor of my home. Michelle was enthusiastic, professional, and wonderfully gifted in her ability to put patterns and colors together to match the decor of the rest of my home. She visited once and the second time she showed up she had more than enough delightful fabrics to choose from to please both myself and my husband. Her choices far surpassed the professional service that had originally designed my roman shades and curtains. Her ability to propose a variety of solutions at various price points gave us room to play with new solutions that we had not considered before. She is creative and fun to work with to boot. We highly recommend her for anyone looking to re-create their living space. She loves what she does and her abilities transformed a project that was initially overwhelming into a delight!

My wife and I were tired of our outdated, cluttered and boring living room. We are fortunate to have hired Michelle Ku of Addison Design to guide us through every step of transforming the room into a beautiful, comfortable area where we enjoy entertaining and relaxing. Michelle made the daunting tasks of selecting new furniture, window treatments, fabrics and paint colors simple and fun. I especially appreciate her ability to coordinate the logistics of our project; tasks like ordering furniture and locating reputable contractors were made much easier. I would highly recommend Addison Design to anyone looking to revitalize their living space.

We hired Addison Design to take the lead on the design of our approx. 3000 sq ft remodel, including: the formal living room, formal dining room, breakfast room and bar, office, family room, guest bath, main entryway, mud room, basement (basement included two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, home theater, game area) and back patio. Addison Design worked with us to develop the overall look and feel of our home/individual spaces and then translated that information into furniture, lighting, wall finishes, drapery, upholstery, and objects de' art. Addison Design also developed the plans used by contractors to build out the necessary hard spaces. Addison Design also took the lead on securing and managing all contract resources necessary to complete the work. We worked with Addison Design for 18 months. The results went well beyond our expectations. Addison Design did an outstanding job of creating an environment in our home that provides not only beauty but functionality.

Michelle was accessible and fun to work with. She made the project much easier for me and helped speed up the process. Her instincts for color were excellent and I felt she knew the look I was going for. The transformation was dramatic. The room is now warm and inviting - a space I can enjoy.

I selected paint colors for Michelle for a project that she was working on. She included the client in the whole process, making sure that the client was happy with everything. She was courteous and professional, and the designs that she came up with were fantastic! She helped the client achieve her goals of having a home that looked sophisticated while still being comfortable and safe for her three young children. It was beautiful!

Michelle is an absolute pleasure to work with. She took time to go through my idea books and figure me out, which most people can't seem to accomplish. She has the ability to think outside the box and stick to a budget that was not endless. As I live in IL and she is in CO we conferred via emails and phone. She was able to come up with a solution for a poorly laid out kitchen that I would have never dreamed of. Her sense of style and professionalism is a breath of fresh air!

I worked on a design team with her on several projects and was very impressed with her outstanding original design, material selections and superb color coordination.
