Our experience with Kathleen was amazing from start to finish! She had ideas that made sense and were very pleasing to the eye. Not only was her design warm and inviting, it was functional as well. With three children, functionality is a must!! I consistently get compliments about the area she designed. In addition to her design, she created a large piece of abstract art for us. I absolutely loved her art work as well. It was the final accent to a masterpiece. You can not go wrong with Kathleen Mapson and Company.

Kathleen has a gift of taking your vision and making it come alive. I commissioned her to create two paintings for me - one for my Mom and one for my sister. The painting for my mother was BEAUTIFUL and captured the image of an African landscape centered around the Marula tree. My sister wanted an abstract painting based on the color scheme of rust, burnt orange, chocolate brown, burgandy, and a little gold. The painting that Kathleen created was a perfect compliment to the colors in her home. I highly recommend Kathleen Mapson & Company to anyone that wants to beautify their space!

This is the third home that Kathleen has worked on and I have been amazed each and every time!!! She is fun to work with and has a way to put you at ease during the process. Kathleen is very talented and passionate about any job she takes on. She designed a room for a boy moving into the preteen stage. My son want the colors of red, white and blue. She created a design that showed so much of who he is. She is was attentive to the look I wanted. She was very attentive and did a great job following up on the project. I was very pleased with her work and recommend any one needing and decorator she is the one for you.

I received a referral from a dear friend of mine for Kathleen's interior design services and I must say this with HUGE exclamation points - Kathleen did NOT disappoint. We kicked off the e-session with a videoconference where she got a good feel for my personal style and the vision that I have for my home office. I wanted a simple, bright white foundation with touches of my brand colors (I am a wedding coordinator) thrown in. I was super apprehensive about patterns, but Kathleen brought me out of my shell and presented me with options that tied so well together. She gave me visual representations as well as a list of every product that was included so that I could feel confident when I moved forward with purchasing and setting up everything. Our relationship did not end there. Kathleen checked in with me as I put the entire office together, asking for photos, giving advice on changes and/or product replacements if anything went out of stock (since I waited so long to purchase things). The result was beyond my wildest dreams. My office has since been published and featured by several online lifestyle blogs and I am still in love with my office just as much as I was when I first finished it. It is my supreme happy place and makes me feel like a total boss whenever I sit down at my desk. If you are looking for just another plain ole, boring, commercial interior designer - Kathleen is not for you. I have worked with Kathleen Mapson & Company for not one, but TWO custom pieces of artwork for my home. With each new visitor, the question is always, "where did you get those pieces from?"
