We have worked with Goldberg General Contracting for over ten years on numerous projects. Our first project with GGC was to build my own home. While our project has won recognition, the strongest testament to the quality of its construction comes from living in this home. I appreciate the impeccable details and the comfort that comes from a well-built home. We continue to put GGC on the top of our list for General Contractors. 5 stars!!

I have had several great experiences working with Goldberg. Their work is top notch, polished and beautiful. They also have really great taste and a total sensibility for design, I've appreciated their opinions and recommendations many times over the years on what would work best within our current space aesthetic. They are total pros, great communicators, and I've always left the job happy after working with them. Great people!!

Everything one can hope for in a Contractor... Quality workmanship and materials, reliable and trustworthy people in all job functions, team players with Client, architects and subs, excellent value, and aesthetic sensibilities coupled with a commitment to get every detail done right. I did a gut rehab I have lived with for 10 years so I know how it all worked out on all the above. I could share story after story about tough decisions GGC made to get every detail "right" at great expense to their firm, how their workmanship has held up over years of use, how it continues to look like it was done just months ago, about how they continue to be available for small detail work or to answer questions, or about how I am so glad I went with them. And the people from the owners to the workmen on the job to the front office billing are all first rate.

We have done several custom homes with fine contractors, but none were as spectacular as GGC. Our historic 1895 Chicago two-flat was renovated tastefully and appropriately outside, and a brand new, state of the art contemporary interior perfectly executed inside. On time, on budget, with meticulous craftsmanship throughout. I want to do another project with GGC, even though I don't need to, just for the pure pleasure and satisfaction.

GGC is the most excellent company to work with. From the owner, Jacob Goldberg, to the project manager to the workmen of flooring, tiling, carpentry, painting they were all clean, neat, on time, delivered what was promised. I have hired them to do smaller jobs with the same satisfaction.

Consummate professionals, the team at Goldberg General Contracting brought years of experience on ambitious projects to bear on our extensive renovation. They immediately understood the level of excellence that we and Alex Krikhaar Vinci/Hamp were seeking and, positioned as they were to engage craftsmen of the highest caliber, realized a truly exceptional product within budget and on time. They were invaluable co-collaborators at every step of the ten month undertaking and key to our great and ongoing satisfaction with the results. .

These guys can do anything. Outstanding. They exceptional at finding 'hard to source' architectural pieces and ceiling tiles. They can stay on budget.

GGC built my house and did a fabulous job. Not only was the entire team incredibly professional and easy to work with but they were the only builders I trusted to execute and truly deliver a modern architectural design. I interviewed other contractors but GGC's work stood out high above the rest. Their work is meticulous even down to the smallest details, which are often the most important when it comes to modern construction. Throughout the design and construction process, GGC was instrumental in introducing new and innovate materials and methods to achieve our vision. The team is incredibly responsive, even years after our project completion. If I could award GGC 6 stars, I would!!

This general contracting company is professional, responsive and skilled at what they do. It was a pleasure to work with them from the beginning of the project to the end. They assisted us with budgeting, as well as construction. They finished on time and on budget. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

I could not have been more pleased with our experience with Goldberg General Contracting. Everyone we dealt with was so professional, and the particular craftsman who executed the work clearly took such pride in the project. This involved the installation of reproduction tiles on a fireplace at the landmark Glessner House Museum in Chicago, so we are very careful to select contractors who respect the building and thoroughly understand the scope of work. We look forward to working with them again!

I've worked with GGC on a variety of projects now - both commercial and residential - and I must say I'm throughly impressed. Top notch on a variety of levels. Their attention to detail is exceptional. They don't cut corners hoping you won't notice. Responsive, trustworthy, fair, great follow-up even long after the project is completed.
