Kate and Andrew have designed a stunning home/extension for us while enthusiastically incorporating our specific needs. They've provided a fresh and different perspective that has often challenged our thinking and led us to a better outcome. The design incorporates a style and aesthetic we love and is reflective of their expertise and sense of style. After meeting a number of architects regarding our renovation project and not really clicking with them, when we met with Kate & Andrew we got the feeling they really understood our needs and what our house needed to deliver. What followed was an amazing proposal which had a fresh 'wow' factor, but was also sympathetic to the period heritage of the existing house, pragmatic working with the sloping site and was within our abilities to execute as owner-builders. Throughout the process, Kate has been amazing to work with. "Kate and Andrew at K+ARchitects have great vision and creativity. They are a great team and have made our dreams a reality with their design of our family home". This was a knock down of our old existing home to make way for a new 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, rumpus, study and cellar. Materials used, outside cladding is Colourbond Inside is burnished concrete flooring. Glass features across the front of the home to maximise the view of the bay.
