I've known Janie for a number of years a absolutely love working with her. She is a wonderful and talented designer with classic style but more than that, she is so easy to work with, professional, on-time, and knows what she is doing.

Janie's knowledge of how to effectively combine and manage elements of interior design such as color, texture, scale and depth is simply unsurpassed. Janie's skill in creating spaces which effectively combine mid-century modern and contemporary elements is also extraordinary. I initially utilized Janie's design services during the renovation of my previous house, and was so pleased with the results that I decided to again engage Janie's services during the design and construction of my newest house. Throughout both of these projects, Janie was very responsive and extremely attentive to details which I very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Janie's work to anyone!

Janie Hirsch is a wonderful designer to work with. She is very personable and at the same time, she is extremely professional. She has an amazing sense of color and style and is incredibly talented. Her taste and expertise are impeccable. I am advisor for a sorority at Auburn University and we recently worked with Janie to update our chapter room. She did the original design 5 years ago when the dorm was built and before I was involved as an advisor. The chapter had loved everything Janie did previously, but some things were getting worn and dingy with 200 plus girls in and out all the time. As time had gone by, the girls had realized a need for a bookcase and additional study areas in the room. Janie met with us last December. She was very easy to communicate with. She truly listened to what the girls wanted and was very responsive to their questions. Janie has a positive attitude, is efficient, and is able to meet budgets and deadlines. She was very creative in her responses to our needs and has a knack for adding those creative touches to the project. She designed a built-in bookcase that totally transformed our room. She also added molding to existing columns in the room. I have been amazed at the positive comments and compliments we have had on this work and what a difference it made in the room. Additionally, she gave us a design for new furniture pieces and upholstery for the chapter room and also upstairs office and TV area that we can do in stages as we have the money. We bought some of the new furniture this past summer and are ready with our plan for the next phase, thanks to Janie and her thoroughness. Janie always responds quickly by phone or email and takes care of every detail with orders, deliveries, set-up, absolutely everything!! She made our space look spectacular and we are extremely pleased with our experience working with her.

J. Hirsch Interior Design, LLC provides interior design and decorating services for me. We have an on-going renovation of our 1970's style home and Janie has been with us through the process. Before meeting Janie, I was given recommendations of other design professionals and they would insist that they do all the work and then we come home for the "reveal" or they would recommend furniture, colors, accessories that fit the designer's brand or style. Janie is not like that at all. Janie listens to what we are trying to achieve with each room and she the gives us options. She will help us see beyond our immediate thoughts and is very patient as we choose our design, colors, furniture, and accessories for each room while keeping the bigger picture of the whole home design in mind. Janie gets us to think beyond our immediate thinking without forcing us through the process, this has made the end result of the rooms even better. Janie also knows how to help us work within our budget. She is able to give you multiple options so we can achieve our look within our budget. All of the contractors and services Janie has recommended to us to complete work on our home have also been top notch professionals who do fantastic work. The ultimate compliment is that my husband enjoys working with Janie. Working with a designer/decorator was always a point on contention between my husband and myself, until Janie. He now encourages me to use Janie because of how our home is progressing. Looking forward to more years of renovation with Janie!

Janie worked with me to update my living room and dining room. It was a difficult job for me to do on my own because of the items I wanted to keep and incorporate, the color I wanted to accent and the pillars that broke up the space. Janie came over and we had a lengthy discussion on what I liked, what I wanted to accomplish and the colors I wanted to develop. She took pictures and within a couple weeks, she came back with lots of options. As we worked through the project, the room really came to life and it was better than what I imagined. Janie did a great job capturing everything I described and kicking it up a notch. The result is beautiful and it makes me smile everyday! In addition, Janie is easy to work with, friendly and personal. I wish I had another room to decorate just so I could work with her again!

I hired Janie to help me choose carpet and lighting for my new home as well as help arrange existing furniture and identify what new pieces were needed. Janie is a real pleasure to work with. So much so that I consider her a friend and not just my designer. She always has a smile on her face and has a great, easy-going attitude. Plus, she is the consummate professional. She shows up on schedule, is always prepared and is very efficient with her time. Finally, she is great at her work. She has an amazing sense of style but she also took the time to understand my taste and preferences and ensured that her recommendations took that into account. I would highly recommend her.
