I worked with IDF Studio on a home furnishing/remodeling project for about 12 months and the process and results were everything I ever wanted! I found their team to be easy to work with, responsive and they really listened to my wants and needs. They really helped my vision come to life and I'm so in love with my home now. I'm especially excited about the picture wall that is elegant and sophisticated but also brings the personal touch to our home that I wanted. Highly recommend!

Marcy, Kassin and the IDF team were amazing and guided us through every step of a complicated paint job - from paint color selection, to brush outs, to mock ups, they took all the deliberation and stress out of the job. Our house is an v. old Victorian with loads of beaming, craving, and small details, so this was no easy feat. Our ask was to keep the original charm of the house, but make it lighter, and feel brighter. And they delivered. Thank you! It feels like a whole new space (but somehow still home).

I came to IDF with a very specific creative vision in mind, and wanted a look for my home that was at once personal, collected, one of a kind, and true to my own style. My original plan was for IDF to save me from myself by designing the window treatments and sourcing focal points for each room, so that I could then take on what I considered the more “minor” accents and accessories as part of a crash course in channeling my inner artist (and to be honest, I was operating on a pretty humble budget). When Iead designer Laura presented the first round of sketches, I nearly fell off my chair. I could also feel my gut screaming at me to let go of the reins and just let IDF go full throttle. Five months later we are partway through install and my home is finally becoming a haven. Laura and team nailed the design concept point blank, and even curated a gallery wall on the first try! Their ability to tune in to the individual needs of a client is uncanny, and their design savvy lies not just in aesthetic appeal but in execution (budget planning, project management, timelines, etc). I even received a card in the mail from Kassin (founder and CEO) sending good vibes when it came time to wait for some longer lead time furnishings. Thank you IDF, for breathing life, soul, and vitality to my surroundings and turning my home into a sanctuary!

We worked with IDF to re-design common spaces (living room, dining room, kitchen) to make them more friendly to a family with small children. IDF came up with a layout that makes far better use of the space we have and picked just a few new pieces to complement our existing furniture and paint colors really well. I am and architect specializing in single family home remodels in San Francisco. I was introduced to Edam and his team at IDF Studios on a recent project in Ashbury Heights for a young couple who had just purchased the home and were looking to remodel it with their own style. Edam and the owners were already under way with the design of the project when I came aboard and I was immediately impressed with the level of design, the thoughtful engagement with the homeowner, and how the aesthetic intent was communicated to the rest of the team. During the course of the project Edam was very open to my suggestions and we were able to foster a creative atmosphere which concluded with a successful remodel and very happy new homeowners. We have been working with Edam at IDF Studio for a few years on several projects and cannot recommend his company enough. I had the pleasure of working with Marcy Kiser at IDF. Marcy thoughtfully considered the space and managed to discern my tastes and preferences, even when I had difficulty articulating them. Marcy energetically designed and implemented the plan, and she is a perfectionist when it comes to execution. I'm grateful to Marcy and IDF for creating a space to which I'm always glad to return.

We had the pleasure of working with Jaclyn and Alli on a kitchen remodel that grew throughout the project. Jaclyn and Alli were incredibly professional, efficient and an absolute dream to work with-even when our contractor became a nightmare. Jaclyn ensured that we stayed on budget, she kept our contractor in line and on time, and she was flexible with our busy family schedule. We would absolutely recommend IDF, and especially these two lifesavers, over and over again!

Working with IDF was absolutely wonderful. Ashley Banash was our designer for the project and she was so professional and extremely easy to work with. She listened to what we wanted while still making her own suggestions, but did not push any ideas onto us that we were not comfortable with. She was always open to our ideas and tried to incorporate those as much as she could into her own design. IDF and Ashley were able to bring the vision we had for our space to life and we are extremely pleased with the outcome! I approached several interior design firms during the early phase of my construction project. Half of them were pleasant but had ridiculously high spending requirements while the other half seemed really smug so I was initially discouraged. I continued my search and stumbled upon IDF Studio, and everything was smooth sailing from there! IDF's website exuded high quality and approachability, and I think it was the company's mission statement that spoke to me (which sadly I no longer remember). I reached out and was scheduled an initial meeting with Kassin (founder/CEO), who I found very personable. Kassin and I discussed the project and she explained what the process entailed, told me that she would pair me with a lead designer who she believed would work well with me. Little did I know Kassin's pairing skills would be on point! A few days after we signed the proposal, my husband and I met with our lead designer, Jaclyn, and associate designer, Ali. We talked to them about what we liked, the style we're going for, budget, expectations, etc. Jaclyn and Ali were both very friendly and good-humored. I especially felt like I was talking to my really close friends during our initial meeting. After they left, I told my husband I liked them already! Jaclyn was my main go-to person throughout the project. It was real fun working with her because she is super talented and has exceptional taste! Whether Jaclyn was presenting a design aesthetic or suggesting which tiles or flooring materials to choose, I always found it difficult to make a decision because all her suggestions always looked good! Given that I was so indecisive and had a limited budget, Jaclyn was always patient with me and was always there to help me make the right decision. I always looked forward to my calls/meetings with her and she really helped keep me grounded so that I continued to enjoy the process instead of become overwhelmed. Jaclyn also had this talent of ensuring you make a decision you would not regret. When I look around our home, I cannot find anything in it I do not love! Jaclyn incorporated all the quirky requests my husband and I had into the aesthetic of our home and created a home that speaks our personality and suits our lifestyle. Ali was a delight to work with. She was always there to help even at a moment's notice. I remember calling her one day because the supplier no longer carried the white countertop we originally selected so we had to choose another white countertop. There were so many shades of white countertops to choose from, my head was spinning! I was pressed for time and had a deadline so Ali ran down to meet me at the store within the hour so that I could order ASAP! Ali also helped me with the most intricate details of the project ranging from the grout and paint colors to deciding which side the strings of the roman shades should be on! She took care of the smallest details without fail so that I did not have to stress over it! I could go on and on and say many positive things about Jaclyn and Ali but this review will never end! Overall, our project was a complete rebuild of our home which took almost three years to complete starting from the planning phase. Though occasionally hectic and sometimes stressful, I found the process of rebuilding our home to be an educational and really enjoyable experience thanks to IDF! Jaclyn and Ali always meant business and were always so efficient, but still managed to keep the experience fun, productive and light-hearted during stressful times!! I highly recommend IDF! We were very pleased with our decision to work with them and I cannot imagine doing another project without Jaclyn and Ali!
