An Instagram advert appeared on my feed and I liked the look of the furniture so I clicked the picture. I am so impressed with the quality of the pieces I ordered. The table is beautiful and functional, and the chairs are extremely comfortable. Icon By Design were responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

I love the couch I chose and it is just perfect. Often you order things you see in a showroom and then when they arrive they don't seem as good or well made etc. Everyone was helpful, the delivery people lovely - all up a nice experience. I would recommend to anyone if they like that style of furniture.

I would give this table 6 stars if possible. First of all it is solid oak instead of cheaper veneer. Secondly it looks beautiful and exactly like it does in the photos. Finally the price was exceptional. I had been looking for a table like this for several months and anything else I had seen was so far out of my price range. I am going to pre order the chairs now.

Beautiful products, efficient service, and delivery.
I had purchased similar products from West Elm back in August and paid for them in full - they were never delivered and it was a shocking process trying to get my money back. Icon By Design was a dream in comparison. Thank you.

I have now purchased 2 bedside tables, 2 beds and 3 different chests of drawers from Icon By Design - a testament to how pleased I was with my purchases. The website is easy to navigate, and though there is a good range I wasn't overwhelmed by too many choices. The quality of each piece of furniture is great. Everything feels sturdy and fits well together (no sticking drawers, and slides easily). I had to install 4 legs on one of the chests of drawers, but that was simple. The customer service is top notch - I didn't just feel like a number! The designs are simple and well thought out and fit in easily with the other furniture in my house.

Low quality and even worse customer care, a very poor experience - I would never shop here again.
Purchased a Jolanda bed that is advertised as "Solid Timber / more robust, and the joints will withstand greater impacts or abuse". After waiting patiently for ~3 months, the bed arrived with a broken leg – The Icon By Design team was very fast to blame it on an impact that happened during shipping, however, I did not see significant visible damage to the shipping box or to the broken part itself that will indicate impact.
In addition, when inspecting the broken leg I noticed that the legs are glued/laminated together in a way that the weight of the bed would rest on the glued part, rather than on the timber frame – A very flawed design and no one at IBD was able to explain why the bed was built this way. The failure itself looked like a glue failure, indicating to me that the bed is not only flawed by design, it is also of poor quality.
If the experience with IBD was bad up until that point, it was about to get a lot worse - After raising my concerns to the customer care team, I was given an option to replace the broken part with another that has the same design flaw or return the bed and lose 20% of the total cost as a "restocking fee". Of course, like any other issues reported in the google reviews, there was a consensus by the Icon BY Design team that this is a "very rare" issue that they had “never seen before”. How Interesting.
Considering they only offered 2 years warranty and as I cannot trust the bed, or the brand they got their broken bed back and 20% of my purchase money for absolutely nothing. I am now 4 months since ordering (And paying the entire amount in advance) with less money in my pocket and no bed. I was expecting a lot more for a bed that costs so much but does not look like they respect their clients or their products. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

We stand by our assessment that the issue raised is the first instance of its type that has been reported in the thousands of examples of this bed that have been delivered to date, using the same manufacturing techniques and specifications.
The overwhelming and vast majority have been in service with absolutely no issue in years of use. This fact is what provides us with confidence that the immediately offered resolution (a replacement component), would resolve the issue in both the short and long term. We remain willing to provide this replacement component to resolve your case immediately.
Typically the return of open-box items is not an option we provide, however as a gesture of goodwill, we did offer to return your order for a refund less applicable restocking fees, with return shipping costs waived. We felt this was a reasonable alternate option, despite originally offering the replacement component which was fully able to resolve the issue, and swiftly.

Buyer beware. Sadly, i’ve had a poor experience with their customer service team. While their sales staff were excellent , once i had a problem, that was where a warranty is deemed worthless.
I bought PU leather astrid chairs as the sales person assured me that they were durable. I have had Pu leather and proper leather lounges and chairs before and never had an issue. On exactly the 2 year mark i noticed 1-2 small tiny holes/peeling on all 4 of my chairs in varying places, I thought it was odd because they were not punctures and happened on all my chairs of which 2 barely get sat on at all. I called the sales team at the store and the staff member was super nice and helpful and told me that it was odd and although i was a couple of weeks out of my warranty , it would be fine if it was a fault.
So i emailed their customer service and sent them photographs of the little dots. They came back to me and said that they have never had an issue before and that it was a wear and tear issue and that i was out of warranty.
Firstly - just because there’s never been an issue like this ( or they dont want to admit it) , doesnt mean mine arent faulty.
Secondly - wear and tear are holes and tears and obvious signs of wear , but my chairs are in amazing condition apart from these strange peeling dots. If dining chairs cant last 2 years without faults in the leather, thats not good quality.
At first their only resolution was “ you can buy these Guardmans products to protect your chairs”
I told them that the sales person gave me these initially and had been the products we were using .
Then they told me i was given the wrong ones.
So i asked if they could escalate it to the head of their team. Then the head of the team came back and refused to help furthur.
Will not recommend.

Good furniture. Professional service. Follow through and support after sales excellent.
We are planning a few more items in the future.

I put a down payment $1700 for a dining table and chairs to be delivered 2 months later. I asked for a cancellation of the order and a refund for the down payment. Although the table hasn’t been manufactured yet, they refuse to cancel and asked for $700 cancellation fees. Very disappointed. I recommend you check before you buy their refund policy for orders cancellations. Lodged a complaint to fair trade.

Does anyone have an issue with Icon By Design's product quality? Please get in touch with me. We are experiencing extreme difficulty to ask Icon By Design for remedy of the poor quality tables. NSW Fair Trading intervened, and they still refuse to do anything. We spent over 3000 dollars for two pieces of broken furniture. We are escalating this to the NSW Tribunal.
Bruno King Size Bed Frame (1999 dollars ): bedhead piece got loose from the rest of the bedframe about six months after purchase, and the rest of the bedframe also became very unstable. Icon by Design posted us spare attaching plates, but within a few weeks, the bedhead and two legs became loose again and the frame unstable and swings again.
Tabias Drawer Bedside Tables (1198 dollars): lacquer finishing on the bedside tables cracked and flaked within 3 months of our purchase. We have never exposed the bedside tables to moisture, heat or harsh chemicals. The regular items we place on the bedside tables are a pair of lamps, a pair of glasses (usually placed on coasters and have no leak

Have absolutely loved all the pieces we have purchased from Icon by Design. The TV stand in the living room is a particular favorite with the low profile, and storage with both drawers and a cupboard behind sliders. The pieces in the bedroom are same style, and just gorgeous. Love them all.
