Good design is good business. At HK, we try to positively affect people’s lives with good design. We do our utmost to efficiently use our building spaces and the materials we build with. Nothing should go to waste, whether it’s space, resources, materials, or time. We hold dear existing spaces through restoration and renovation. We plan every building around natural daylight and the land the building will inhabit. I am head over heals for our new redo!! Heidi and her team were so fun, knowledgeable, and fresh...working with them was pure JOY! We found a 1940s New England style home and transformed it into a hip modern farmhouse. We are in love with every detail of our home and have only happy memories about the whole project.

I have built two homes with Hefferlin Kronenberg Architects. Our architects have been Heidi Hefferlin and Craig Kronenberg, one on each project. Our projects continue to be a delight to us, as result of the excellent planning on the architects' part. The designs suit our lifestyle, our maintenance needs, and our dreams. The partners are globally and nationally experienced, well traveled, and creative. The associates are amazing. This firm really wanted us to be happy clients. We think they are amazing.

Major remodel of 1928 home (stucco and brick) Kitchen/Mudroom/Laundry/Den/ Master bath/Office/Screened Porch/ Windows/Solving longstanding exterior water infiltration problems. Remodels can be tough. If you want to add excellent design and delight to the process, then choose Hefferlin-Kronenberg. Superb team! A grateful repeat client.

Architects Hefferlin and Kronenberg magnificently designed our abode on the Cumberland Plateau (200+ acres) overlooking the Sequatchie Valley farmlands in Tennessee. The house was beautifully built of enormous rocks harvested unobtrusively below the rock cliffs of the property allowing it to harmonize with the ancient rock formations surrounding it. Large windows and spaces and high ceiling pitches capture the vistas. Wood floors, build-ins and furniture blend with the surrounding forests. modern conveniences, energy efficiencies, and minimum future maintenances were also excellently incorporated. A wonderful building experience and joyful place to be. We are most grateful to Heidi and her team. Bravo!

Totally satisfied with my plans. They listened and executed professionally..Heidi sketched exactly what my wife wanted the elevation to look like.If we had questions,Heidi was always willing to help us.
