We recently decided to finish the full basement in our house. After much consideration we chose the Hauser Building Co. to do the work. Ed and his crews are all very pleasant and were respectful of our family time since they needed to enter the house on a daily basis. He helped us complete the design, work through the local code issues that came up, and did a beautiful job. The owner of the company stayed very involved throughout the job making frequent visits to consult with us on details and emailing or texting to keep us informed on the status of the project. We feel very happy to recommend them.

Over the last twenty hears I have worked with Ed Hauser on a number of projects. The most recent and most ambitious was a three part project on Bristol Road in Durham. He, and his entire team, were completely attentive to all of the details from start to finish. He kept to his budget and time frame and was a pleasure to work with. Hauser Building transformed our house from devastation to delight. We had extensive water damage as the result of a ruptured pipe in our master bathroom. My family and I had been out of town for Thanksgiving, and returned to our home to find a gut wrenching amount of water throughout our first floor. After the initial dry out took place, which included removal of hardwoods, tile, carpet, insulation, heating/cooling duct work, I could only stand to be in our home for short amounts of time before becoming overwhelmed by a feeling of loss. It wasn't my home anymore. I am so thankful that we selected Hauser Building to restore our home. When Ed Hauser made his initial view of our damage, I could tell that he understood what had happened to our home and to us as a family. He was thoughtful, sympathetic, and professional. When the work began, it was close to Christmastime and he and everyone on his team made restoring our home a priority. Ed was accessible when we had concerns or questions, and he made reasonable and honest responses and suggestions. My family and I are thrilled to be back in our home. It is beautiful and ours again. It's even better than it was before! We will definitely be using them again...but hopefully under more cheerful circumstances. Hauser Building transformed my home. I bought a big lumbering house on an exquisite piece of property. In two phases, Hauser Building transformed the living spaces. Opened up rooms, closed others - and added beautiful finishes throughout. Truly incredible. Industry judges cane by to take a look. Even they were impressed. Hauser took down an older house to its shell and built a modern, open house for us. In addition and extension was added. The work was high quality and he listened to what we wanted. He understand=s design and also quality construction. Could not do better than use Hauser in the Chapel Hill Hillsborough area for renovations/construction! Prabha Fernandes

Hauser Building built a storage building (28x24) to match an existing barn. The estimate of costs and schedule were met. The quality of the work was excellent. Minor issues during construction were addressed immediately and without issue. Ed Hauser was on the job regularly and kept in close touch with me. Following this successful work, i had Ed do three more jobs including a full build-out on an apartment at the top of my barn. I have been very satisfied with the work, the professionalism, the prices. I can easily recommend Hauser Building.
