General Shale

Going through a horrible experience with General Shale. On my new construction build home which is 100% brick we have a custom piece which required some extra time. All was explained and up front we were told it would take 4-6 weeks. We currently are at 14 weeks and still have no custom brick. I have been told the plant manager was on vacation, then there was a problem with the kiln and most recently the kiln schedule has been changed unexpectedly. Multiple exterior areas are being held up by this and General Shale has yet to make it right or get the product out. I would point anyone in the directly of another brick manufacturer. They are unable to meet reasonable expectations and handle custom orders. Very disappointed and dissatisfied.
