Verve Interiors is a boutique interior design studio specializing in mid to high end residential decorating projects which was established in 1984 by interior designer, Ford Bailey. Today, our designers are Ford Bailey, Christy Edens, Margo Orlandini, and Stephanie Abernethy. Verve is our shop which was created in 1993 as a resource for our design firm business with a wonderful mix of furniture, lighting, art, accessories and antiques. The inventory is bought with a curated eye for design and is always changing. Verve has classic style with a relaxed elegance. Verve is a store where you will find an ever-changing collection of home furnishings and accessories that reflect a penchant for quality, style, and good taste. Each piece is hand-selected for its enduring integrity, with a fresh mix of traditional values and modern design. In combination with the design studio of Verve Interiors, our staff has the ability to service customers at every level. Please visit us in Columbia, SC on the corner of Gregg and Gervais Street to see our latest arrivals.

Ford , owner on Verve and Ford Boyd Interiors , along with my builder Tim Powers designed and decorated my beautiful home in Atlanta! To this day I have to say it is absolutely stunning and well thought out in every way from the architecture ,to crown molding ,to curtains , lighting and all the beautiful classic timeless furnishings. Everything they both did together was well thought out and to perfection! And best of all , everything was on schedule and all came together to create our beautiful home on [Sensitive Information Hidden]

I've worked with Verve for several years. Very professional, very knowledgeable and fun to work with. No project is too small. They LISTEN, take into account your lifestyle and budget and provide guidance and incorporate your tastes. When you work with them it's a collaboration, which I love. And my house looks like a tastefully appointed, liveable home, not like a museum.

Verve is my go to shop to find one of a kind treasures, beautiful art and fabulous furniture. If fact, its really the ONLY place I trust to help select pieces for my home. The designers who work there are extremely knowledgeable and are easy and fun to work with. I can't make a decision without these fabulous ladies anymore!

My experience with Verve and Ford Bailey was outstanding. She saved me so much money with great advice on purchases and designing my home. My home is classic, timeless and elegant. I still love everything in my house after 15 years. It was worth the time and money to decorate my house with Ford and she was truly a blessing to making my home represent me and my family!! I walked into Verve 10 years ago and established a relationship that transformed my ordinary mid century ranch house into an extraordinary home. Christy Edens has thoughtfully created spaces that are uniquely stylish but very livable for my family of four. Each room reflects my taste and what I consider beautiful. Whether I purchase a piece of custom upholstery, art, or rug from Verve, I'm confidant that each investment will stand the test of time and serve to inspire me for years to come.

The ladies at Verve have the most amazing taste and impeccable style! Each and every piece I have purchased from Verve, wether it is art, furniture, fabric, etc, is a direct reflection of me and what I love! They do the most fabulous job of pulling everything together and in such a way that as time has passed, they can come back rearrange with the very same pieces, maybe fluff with a new addition here or there, but it will look like a completely new space! I can't say enough about there professionalism, grace, and style!!!!

Ford Bailey decorated our home in three "waves" - first our kitchen, then our bedroom and most recently our living and dining rooms and study. I LOVE everything she has done. She just gets what we like and suggests very interesting and cool pieces. All she has done work together to transform our spaces. I highly recommend her (and have).

I have used Verve for many years and their creativity and eye for design has made my home very comfortable and pleasing. All of our guests love it, too! Each and every room has The Verve touch and it's fantastic. The designers at Verve understand budget constraints and work well within any range. The shop is a pleasure to visit and it's hard to walk away without a treasure in your arms. The last room that they completed was the master bedroom and bath it is a wow! My husband and I relax in beautiful hues of salmon custom drapes with complementary lamps and bed scarf. Ford found a great mirrored vanity with coordinated bedside dressers. Our home is an older house which has small rooms which is a challenge, but Ford used every single inch to its advantage and now the entire room feels much more spacious. The bath features white and grey porcelain tiles, a white Quartz countertop, and glass enclosed shower. We feel like we are on vacation every day.

Ford Bailey is the owner of Verve. She is a wonderful designer, very knowledgeable in all aspects of interior design. Her window treatment expertise is top notch. She is very organized and sees a project through to completion. She has helped translate my vision in three different residences. They are all fabulous! So lucky to have worked with this fabulous designer

I have worked with Christy Edens for over 8 years slowly transforming my home here in Forest Acres. She has fabulous taste, fun to work with, creative, and always professional. Christy is always helpful. She is great whether you are doing a little at a time or a major project. The shop, Verve, owned by Ford Bailey is a great place to browse, buy local art, lamps, lighting, furniture and other statement pieces.
