Excellent sales & installation. One hiccup with elecrical after installation, but repaired the next day. Fireplace unit looks & works great. This unit replaced previous insert, 23years old. New unit much more efficient with blower, lights, etc.

We installed a fireplace in our lower level. Cindy worked with me several times on this project. She was very helpful as were all of the people involved with the installation of the fireplace, stone and mantel work. It is a process that takes awhile but so worth it. We are very pleased with the final outcome and wish we would have done this years earlier. The one thing that I would suggest to those about to do this.........look on pinterest for ideas. There are so many options there. When going to Fireside you will be much more prepared to fine tune what you are looking for. Right along they kept telling me it's going to be really nice when completed........and they were right! My husband and I are very pleased with the decision to go with Fireside Hearth & Home and highly recommend them.

The absolute worst experience I've had during my 9 month long building process and that's saying a lot! If I could rip out the two expensive fireplaces I bought I would. Fireside was recommended by my contractor and after what we've gone through he will never recommend them or use them again. After waiting months with multiple missed appointments the fireplaces weren't properly installed but we were told they were. Only after the gas contractor came out to set them up did we find this out and had to rip out drywall and the stone surround. A plastic bag containing multiple paper manuals and combustable materials was left on the top of one of the fireplaces which wasn't visible after the installers applied the heat panels, thank God by a fluke we found them and removed before it could burn the house down. Now I've been waiting for a month for the fireplaces to be properly installed only to have their installers no show again for the appointment that was confirmed yesterday! I am disgusted at the level unprofessionalism this company shows to its customers. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away.

Highly recommend Fireside after my experience working with them on a gas fireplace install in our basement. They are professional, timely, responsive, and flexible.

I recently needed an old inspection (2004) on my Moms gas fireplace, so I contacted Fireside Hearth and Home according to the paperwork I had. I was extremely fortunate to have received the most amazing customer service ever from Theresa! She went above and beyond to make sure I was able to obtain the important information I needed!! Ordering, scheduling, installs, and the end performance of the units all operate smoothly as I complete my projects, and I know I can rely on that consistency.

Terrible service and scheduling department. Many different trips to install and fix errors. Also sent wrong framing instructions causing additional time and costs reframing. They not only did not apologize, but were hours late for their appointment to remedy.

We purchased a Quadra-Fire 3100 from the Fireside Hearth and Home store in Eden Prairie store and with install paid over 3,450.00. IT CRACKED!!!! Contacting Quadra-Fire and Fireside Hearth and Home availed no help at all. They have gone to manufacturing a "recliner kit" to address the problem(interesting) and they will sell this for 396.00!!! Beware both Quadra-Fire and Fireside Hearth and Home will not stand behind the products they manufacture and sell. Will never give our business to them in the future. Do a google search to see how many others that have had cracking in their Quadra-Fire.

Hearth & Home installed a gas fireplace in our house. Everyone was wonderful to work with. They helped us pick the appropriate fireplace for the area & size of room. The crew that framed it out & installed the fireplace was efficient & professional. The mason that installed the stonework did an amazing job & was meticulous to detail. We would highly recommend them. Hearth & Home also had the best price by far.

Stonework and mantel install on existing fireplace. Rep at Burnsville Fireside Hearth & Home (Mickey) was very helpful and patient throughout our selection process of stone and mantel. The stone and mantel were delivered as scheduled and the installer started the project on time. Overall, the project took a full day or so longer than estimated, but the installer was a perfectionist and we appreciated his attention to detail and determination to do the project just right. We had to be flexible with the extra day, but the end result was well worth it. The quality and outcome was worth the time and money. Mickey followed up immediately after the project to ensure we were satisfied and happy with the work and that the installer was good to work with.

I got my Voyageur Grand about two months ago. The dimensions are very precise so please make sure you measure correctly. I had to make some modifications to the hearth for both fit and local regulations. Pro's: This stove really kicks out the heat. The larger fire box is nice since I already had cut my wood at 18 inches Con's: No way on this planet you can get 12 hours of burn time If your wood is not SUPER aged, you will be unhappy with this stove Very difficult to get the fire started (even with small kindling) Very smoky every time you open the door (unless there is a raging fire in the box) I have oak that was cut and split 11 months ago. I have been having issues with the glass getting really smoked up. The smoke shield they talk about will not help if your wood is not aged a minimum of 24 months (according to the sales person). They also said my fire is "too cold" meaning that I need to keep both the bottom and top flue open at all times shortening my burn down to about 3 hours even with oak. When I work with both the top and bottom flue's, I can still only get a maximum of 4.5 hours off of a burn. I believe that the 12 hours they suggest is just a total fallacy and is not possible. I am pretty frustrated having to clean the glass every day. I live in Minnesota and burn constantly throughout the winter so having to do this every day after spending six grand on this stove is not cool. I also asked my sales person to send out a technical person to figure this out since I thought the glass was getting smoked up since there is not enough draft. I asked three times for this and have now given up. I will try to wait this out and put up a lot of wood to make sure it is aged enough. Only time will tell if this is the answer (God willing). I keep asking myself if I had to do this over again, would I? I guess I will need to wait to see how things turn out with super aged wood. I sure hope so...

I am very pleased with Fireside Hearth & Home service and products. They were referred to me by my remodeler. Fireside recommended a new fireplace and it is very beautiful and functional. I ordered the new gray color and when it was installed it had a black insert, which didn't match. The installer called and found paint that matched and it had it ordered. They came back and I thought they would just paint around the fireplace and that would be it. They took out the fireplace and painted the entire insert so it would match perfectly (with no smudges or smears) and put the fireplace back in. It looks great and I love it. They have great service and were very helpful.
