Evolved Floors

This week I had my flooring laid. The whole process from the phone calls to the the actual installation was perfect. I couldn’t ask for better. The fellows laying the flooring were a blast! Easy to communicate with and through the whole process talk us through. Excellent and professional from start to finish.

Bought 100mm2 of 4.5mm loose lay vinyl, I put it down myself, no glue was needed just packed it tightly over a smooth and level subfloor. I used tile grouting around any edges to pack it in tightly, I added quarter round around the edges but it could easily be done without by taking the extra care to be more precise and filling the gaps with coloured grouting. It has a protective coating, I've spilt paint oil and water based, silicon, wood filler all has been removed after drying in. Oil paint needs a green scruber but it lifts off. I've used Acetone to remove ink and also spilt a bottle of it over the flooring, I was surprised to see there was no damage after I quickly soaked it up with tissue. It's relatively easily to keep clean, it will scratch especially moving heavy furniture across the grain. Protective scratch pads can be bought to stick underneath chairs and tables that are moved often. It didnt expand or contract over the summer months in Qld. It feels nice on bare feet, the best thing is being able to pop up and replace any damages over time with spare tiles. Just make sure the codes are identical as they can have different colouring dyes. I highly recommend the product..

I didn't install the floor yet but the service so far has been very good :) I hope the quality of the Vynil plank will be as good as the quality of the sevice provided.

I cannot speak highly enough of Joe and the team. We had a particularly challenging, and shall we say "unique" project in the form of a run down warehouse apartment that we needed flooring for. No question was too silly, and we were assisted the whole way. They were around the same day as we initially rang them, gave us balanced and well considered alternatives on products, and during the installation they worked hand in hand with our other trades people so everything was done in a logical sequence. I will definitely be going straight to Evolve when the need next arises.

Project Location: 2604 Joe and his team installed an acoustic luxfeel floor to our 1930's era apartment in Brisbane. The quality of the workmanship exceeded expectations- I couldn't be more delighted. The floor looks fabulous. And the person in the apartment below is ecstatic.

Josh from Evolved Luxury Flooring quoted the job for Acoustic Lux (lime washed oak) flooring for the living area. The job was completed efficiently and looks great. They seem to be mostly Gold Coast based but completed my job in Brisbane. Would recommend for anyone after vinyl "timber" plank flooring.

We had five rooms done on a very tight time-frame. We were assured that the job could be organised and completed before we went away. Not only was it accomplished, but the workmanship by both Rod, who did 3 of the rooms, Mark & Blake, who did the remaining 2, was superb. The product is brilliant and we are just so happy with the completed work. We also were extremely impressed with the after care service when we needed something done, there was no hesiation in Rod coming back. Would recommend both the product and the company to anyone.

My experience with this company was very positive, from help with choosing the most suitable floor covering through to the laying of the carpet by Jeremy. Carpet samples were dropped off and picked up from my home by Joe which made the process of selection more easy and time efficient. Jeremy also was excellent to deal with , did a very professional job of laying the carpet, leaving the place clean and tidy when the job was complete. I would highly recommend this firm.

We were very happy with the timeline from when we requested the quote to be done to when the job was done once approval was received. Previously in the past, we have had to get numerous quotes for carpet replacement but the owner was also happy with your pricings.
