We have been a customer of Ecotones for 3.5 years and have been exceptionally happy with this company, the staff, the range of comprehensive services, high quality landscaping and design and outstanding customer service. Before we even moved into our modest sized house, we worked with this company to begin yard care and repair and have since expanded into larger, sustainable, full landscape design projects. In my opinion, every project has been handled and carried out with expertise, precision and thoughtfulness and with an eye toward our budgetary considerations. The owner, Greg, is very hands on with consultation and design; his staff are knowledgeable, readily available to us and easily accessible via email/text. Felicia and David have provided 1:1 highly tailored personal guidance regarding plant compatibility, irrigation and design ideas. Our landscape has been transformed into a tiny showcase of beautiful coastal plants and walkways complete with wrap around stone steps and more is yet to come. When my husband and I purchase our home in San Luis Obispo in 2016, the existing landscaping was severely overgrown and neglected. There was also an additional large area that was just, dirt. We were fortunate to see a home where Greg Frugoli had recently completed an extensive landscape project. We met with Greg and began our landscape plan. Our 30-year-old landscaping was in desperate need of revitalization. Greg created a beautiful design for our front yard. His team installed water wise plants, a new drip system, landscape lighting, boulders, a dry creek, and a new brick walkway from the curb to the front of the house. In our back yard they replaced our uneven brick walkway with a new decomposed granite pathway and added new plantings to add interest to a neglected corner of the yard. Greg communicated with us frequently throughout the entire process; from the creation of the design to the completion of the installation. He was always pleasant, on time for our meetings and patiently responded to our many questions in a timely manner. He was on the job site frequently to consult with his installation team; checking on progress and ensuring that the plan was being executed to his specifications. The installation team was skilled and very courteous. Our project was completed on time and on budget. The Ecotones Landscaping maintenance team has managed our yards since the installation was completed. This team takes care of absolutely everything for us. We moved to Cambria, CA over four years ago. Since then we have asked Ecotones to perform a number of large projects -- a new drip system, tank, and pump, new landscape lighting, concrete pads for a shed and garbage cans, a new Bocce court, and a low rock border. In each case, Greg Frugoli visited us before the job and asked lots of questions to make sure he clearly understood the job and what was important to us. Also in each case, Ecotones finished the jobs on time and on budget. Furthermore the workers on each job were professional, very competent, and easy to have around. I would certainly recommend Ecotones for any landscape job, big or small. In fact, I just hired Ecotones to fix the damage caused by a large tree that fell on my property in the big storm of January 27-28, 2021.

Greg and his team are truly the best! Easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. They installed a retaining wall, erosion protection, and landscaping around our home. We hired Greg Frugoli (Ecotones) to assist us in designing and installing a native plant garden to be installed in an area adjacent to our vacation rental house in Cambria, California. We found owner, Greg Frigoli, easy to work with, meeting all deadlines and bugets agreed upon. His project was dry stacked wall installation and paving stone on paths as well as a circular patio. Sprinklers were installed in planting areas and drought tolerant vegetation planted. All projects were finished in a timely manner. Mr. Frigoli is considerate, leaving the area clean and complete. We have used Ecotones for smaller projects and have always been very pleased.
