I just had two of the finest gentlemen, Adam and Colon, drop by to check on seams near my kitchen sink. They were very knowledgeable and professional in their information shared and finish work they performed! I would recommend Down East and their workmanship to anyone looking at having new countertops installed in their kitchen or bath. Down East is extremely professional and knowledgeable in countertop technology!

Horrible quality of countertops in 2 bathrooms. Both full of scratches from normal daily use. Only items in them are tissues boxes, tooth brush, toothpaste tube, comb, brush. Granite countertops in kitchen poor quality. Pitted. Builder insisted this vendor be used. High priced, bad quality.

I was initially very happy with the customer service and selection at Down East. I shopped around and they told me they could get it done the soonest so we went with them. As it turns out, they did not stick to the date they told me and the counter top was done a full 2 weeks after they told me it would be. I was extremely disappointed since one of the main reasons we went with them was the timeliness. I called to see if they would apply a small discount considering the circumstances, and they wouldn't budge. I understand that things like this happen sometimes but I was very disappointed with how they handled it and the fact that they didn't at least reflect a small discount for their mistake.

I received professional advise from Down East which was superb. They helped me coordinate my tile for my kitchen floor and backsplash with their large supply of granite. They had such a great supply of granite it was difficult to choose which one was best! I can't speak highly enough of Lisa who was very patient with me and who has a great eye for color.
