We’ve done our last tile jobs with Hawthorne. Both were large, complex bathrooms in condos and condos are more of a hassle for contractors. They were great to have in our home and in the building, super easy, thoughtful. As buyers, we’re detail oriented (read picky) with a fair bit of experience. We’re also insistent (read we have expectations). Bottom line: every person we dealt with, from the main office to the job site were flat out excellent. These folks are highly competent, straight shooters who do what they say. Having them in the building and in our homes was delightful. I don’t remember if they cost a little more but if they do and you can swing it, you should. We’ve used a dozen tile outfits in this area over the years. Some were disasterous. Hawthorne is in a different league for service, consideration, patience, respect and job quality. With Hawthorne you can be confident your job will be done right and you won’t have to fight or argue to get there.

Finding a great tile setter is a difficult task. Hawthorne Tile has it down to a science. Dirk and his team are absolute professionals in their field. Their work is meticulous and beautiful. They have the knowledge to offer and provide the appropriate solution for any problem tile related. I can't recommend them enough!

Dirk and his crew were the best craftsman that I have ever hired. They were understanding, thoughtful and went that extra mile to please and produce a spectacular design. The firm is not cheap but it was definitely worth the price to be totally happy. They did my main bathroom remodel.

Hawthorne Tile took on a job that other tile people said did't think would work. We had an original concrete formed tile pan that had been coated several times with enamel that was peeling. They removed the old layers down to the concrete base, then did a masterful job of tiling over it with thin glass tiles. The job was made more difficult by all the curved edges, but they cut the glass tiles beautifully to make a design at the corners, which were particularly challenging. We couldn't be happier! And they were on time and on budget. What more could you ask for? Thanks!
