Bill Ohs Classic Work Construction replaced and finished decks and log railing surrounds and exterior stairways of my mtn log home above Jamestown CO. They also power washed and re-coated the exterior log structure itself. The job was done professionally and beautifully to my complete satisfaction!

Mark and Mary Lynn of Classic Work Construction are such great people to work with. I am very fortunate to have been referred to them. It is quite a thrill to watch "the project" get built: an awesome 2 story addition (3 bay garage with 2 Br living space above) onto my modest little mtn house. The views from the new deck (and the large sunny windows) on the upper level are really special. Mark's team did some amazing fix-up work on my house in Colorado when I wanted to put it up for sale a few years ago. It was a somewhat complicated situation that they had to fix. Thank you for doing work that was fast and frugal, but great quality

Mark and his team were absolutely outstanding! We had a brand new build on a complicated site, and Mark's team finished on time and on budget. They were professional, straightforward, and fun to work with. One of the things I really appreciated was Mark's ability to work with subcontractors to get various projects completed on time and to a very high standard of quality. He holds his subs and his own crew to a high standard. It has ten years since we have been in our house that Classic Work completed for us, and we could not be happier. The house has stood up very well. During the flood of 2013 our basement stayed bone-dry. We continue to get lots of compliments on the house, and we enjoy living in it. I would not hesitate to use Classic Work again, although I can't imagine ever moving or needing a major remodel on the current house.

The house that CWC constructed for us is gorgeous and carefully done. It feels wonderful to be in. The spaces flow naturally and feel uplifting. There are many little touches of beauty – e.g., tiles specifically placed to show off their colors, striking wooden beams carefully placed-- that enhance the total beauty of the house. Mark is a builder of the highest integrity. His wife Mary Lynn has been an invaluable resource in picking out all aspects of the interior and guiding us to quality and cost efficiency. It has been a real pleasure to work with them and I recommend them highly!

Having worked with Mark Aschwanden and Classic Work Construction for 10 years, I probably have better insight than anyone into Mark and his company. Let me just say that you couldn't hire a better general contractor and home builder. Mark is extremely knowledgeable, has tremendous character and works tirelessly to deliver a great home to his clients. I am now a construction superintendent in Los Angeles but owe much of my success to the example that Mark set for me. Needless to say, he is highly recommended.

Mark Aschwanden re-built a very difficult home for us 2004-2005. "Difficult" in that the home had been built in 3 separate stages over a 60-year timeframe, and during the rebuilding we ran into significant engineering surprises. I came away after completion with even more respect and trust for Mark than when we started, and few projects like that end well!
