Caruncho Garden & Architecture

I had the pleasure to work with Fernando Caruncho and to be in contact with the members of his firm. My experience with him has been totally positive, and, after studying his work for my PhD thesis In 2009 I had the greatest pleasure of meeting his kindness, his professionality, his generosity and his deep culture and capacity related to gardens while organizing with him his Lectio Magistralis with the Pietro Porcinai Association at the Rectorate Aula Magna in Florence in 2015, and later to write with him an article on the subject, describing his concept and project philosophy, his work, his designing process, his approach to sites, nature, genius loci and his conception about gardens. His Lectio Magistralis in Florence has been a great experience for all attending to it. It has greatly enriched the whole audience joining the conference, many of them professionals and scholars, with also the participation of many university students. Caruncho's approach to landscape and architecture comes from a deep personal passion for the subject. He always feels the need explore and create the best space possible, that is both calm and beautiful.

We had a wonderful experience engaging Fernando and his team to design our garden in England. What was delivered to us was exceptional. We always welcomed meeting with Fernando to discuss the project as we found his company both pleasant and enriching and we look forward to staying in touch. Being drawn to the works of Capability Brown meant that doing his first project ever in the UK was in a way coming back to source that has both been formative and inspirational.
