Our new tree looks fine, but the collateral damage to our lawn during the planting was so avoidable and unnecessary. How hard is it to put down a couple pieces of plywood to protect the grass? After I called to share this feedback, the foreman on the job was at my door 5 minutes later. He wasn't there to apologize, but to complain that I called his boss and insist I shouldn't be bothered by the damage. He'd thrown a handful of grass seed at it, after all.

Tony Dimeglio and Tom are two professionals, knowledgeable and gracious landscapers. Over many years, they have done numerous jobs for me on my house in Belle Mead, and on properties that I have managed as Executor of various Estates in Princeton. The work is always thorough and just what I asked for, usually more than I asked for. They are reasonable in price, conscientious, and very responsive. I could not recommend anyone higher.

I can’t say enough about Caliper Farms, Tom and the crew. From the first step of talking about our design to the last step of walking through and learning how to care for the magic they created on our property!! It was seamless and fun! We needed to revamp our front yard from the traditional new builder's ordinary plantings against the front house. After interviewing 5 companies & paying for a few designs that just didn't thrill me, I found Tom to be such a knowledgeable horticulturalist. His design was the most cohesive & well-thought out four season design based on my aesthetics and need for easy maintenance. He was very responsive to my ideas & mid-course additions to the job (backyard plantings & drain repair). Caliper's crew was also fantastic. Burning hot August NJ weather didn't deter them from their hard work & they even cleaned up the debris off the street in front of our house daily. Project started and finished on time. Victor, the foreman, has a gift with masonry. Our pavered walkway & steps up the hill were installed perfectly w/ beautiful curves. After seeing our completed front yard, 2 of my neighbors contacted Tom to discuss their landscape projects. Caliper's work sold itself. We are thrilled.

Angelo and his crew delivered and planted a large Maple tree at the back of our house. Our house is situated on a slope and not easily accessible for heavy equipment. However, the well-trained Caliper Farms crew managed to maneuver the equipment and the large tree successfully. Their prices are reasonable and they provide excellent professional services. We'll continue to use them in the future. Highly recommended.

We met with three other landscapers before choosing Caliper and have no regrets about our decision. Tom and his crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. Tom worked with us to come up with a design that was just what we were looking for. He was extremely reliable and responsive, always letting us know well in advance if weather or other factors was going to cause a delay in the schedule. As to the actual construction, I can't say too many good things about Victor and his crew. I have, in my younger days, worked with stone myself so I know how challenging it can be to do well. Victor is a true master craftsman and it was a pleasure to watch him work. Every stone was carefully chosen, placed, and fitted to create a structure that is not only pleasing to the eye but will also last for years. This landscaping project was the first of three that we plan on doing over the next two years. We will defiantly be hiring Caliper for the remaining two.

I used Caliper for the replacement of Lattice Fencing. This is one of several projects that Caliper has completed for me. They are very professional and the resulting fencing is beautiful. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping related project.

Tom Taylor was simply the best, and the crew from Caliper Farms did an outstanding job. Tom responded promptly to my houzz inquiry, he understood exactly what I was trying to accomplish landscape wise, and he delivered a plan that, while incorporating existing landscaping, provided the complete make-over I was looking for. I requested a slightly earlier starting date than what the contract provided, and Tom was able to accommodate me. The work was extensive, yet it was all done in only two days. The guys doing the landscaping were the nicest and most hardworking people. Overall an excellent experience.

Flower garden put in without forethought or planning, and was extremely pricey. Garden this spring proves the point: poorly designed and lacks structure and will look terrible in winter, Firm brought in mulch, spread it, then ended up raking half of it off, including good topsoil built up over many years, and carted it all off. Unbelievable! They may be OK at hardscaping but the garden they installed looks like it belongs in a strip mall. I took a chance on this firm and am sorry I did.

Caliper Farms has just completed a patio with wall and walk to enhance our back porch. We were real.y impressed with the knowledge and skills they displayed getting the job just right. They started and completed on Time with no interruptions and were very conscientious about restoring the surrounding grounds.
