Magnifico Cabinet Finishes

I was initially very impressed with this company. The process was very professional and the staff very polite. But 6 months after my cabinets were painted I noticed chips. I contacted the company and was offered for $75 any hour a painter to do touch ups. I said I would rather do it. I was then offer a free can of paint which I never received. I was told that I was hitting the cabinets and that it was wear and tear. The paint that was used wasn't stain resistant. I spilled on the cabinets and the stain is still there even after multiple tries to clean it off. I support small businesses as much as possible but I can't if they won't address a reasonable concern. I understand that there will be wear and tear but I think I should not see that 6months in when the quote said should last about 3 to 5 years. I guess that is expected if I don't use the cabinets.

We decided to go with Magnifico based on superior five star reviews and their ability to offer us what we were looking for. We had custom upper cabinets and a island build. The base cabinets were refaced. Clinton was very responsive on answering our questions and phone calls were picked up on the first or second ring. He was able to put our wants and needs in designing a more functional and user friendly kitchen. Clinton’s crew was professional, polite, punctual and cleaned up at the end of the day. Our small kitchen has been transformed to a beautiful kitchen that has far exceeded our expectations!

Clinton and his team are stellar! I used Magnifico to refinish my cabinets 5 years ago at my previous home, and the cabinets turned out fantastic! Since then I moved and once again, I called out Magnifico to the rescue to update an outdated kitchen. They problem solved for me on top of that! I didn’t think that installing a double oven was possible without forking over a lot of money to find a new place for a microwave. Low and behold, Clinton and his team found a way! They custom built a cabinet for me to replace an unused wine rack cabinet. Clinton was very responsive and extremely knowledgeable in all things related to color selection/art/design etc. I would definitely use Magnifico again and highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed!

The team from Magnifico did an amazing job refinishing my kitchen cabinets. They also finished my island with amazing craftsmanship. My kitchen looks elegant and is actually better than I imagined. I will definitely use them for future projects.

It has been almost a year since Clinton refinished our old kitchen cabinets and build new shelves in our kitchen. He was more expensive than our other bid and worth every penny. He is a craftsman with a depth of knowledge. My wife and I are grateful every day that we chose him do the job. After almost a year they still look new. Craftsmen like you are becoming rare. I have extensive built-in cabinetry in basically every room throughout our ~3400 sq ft home amounting to what I'm told is the equivalent of 4-5 kitchens. I started my research to get quotes on a proper refinish and I was surprised how few companies actually did this work as a primary task. Several gave me quotes and were somewhat vague about how the work would be performed and how it would actually turn out. Clinton (Magnifico) looked at the situation and was very clear and concise about what would occur, how much it would cost and how long it would take. Ultimately going ahead with Magnifico, the work was planned thoroughly since my house was going to impacted in every room. To make a long story short, the end result is nothing short of "Wow". The work exceeded my expectations in every manner. The Magnifico crew were the utmost in professional to the point they were there for several weeks while I wasn't. Clinton (Magnifico) recommended several changes to which these very subtle additions made a very significant impact to the end result. My only regret is not doing this project several years earlier.

Clint recently refinished our 15 yr old kitchen cabinets and did an amazing job! They look brand new! They put so much care and detail to ensure they would turn out perfect! They were so meticulous with their work and took a day and a half just to prep the kitchen area to make sure they protected the floors and the rest of our space. You would never be able to tell that they were refinished because they look that good. You will not be disappointed!

Clinton and his amazing team worked on our house for a couple of months. The first time we met, he walked us through the entire process. He not only had great ideas, he helped up pick out the perfect colors and finishes for each room. He painted ceilings, crown molding, walls, base boards, kitchen/laundry room/hallway cabinets, etc. His team also stained book shelves, beams, and cabinets. Needless to say, we had a huge job. The work is simply gorgeous. We did a lot of remodeling in our home, but the paint, refinishing of cabinets & stain is my absolute favorite part of the house. The detail they put into their work is unbelievable. I would highly recommend using Magnifico.

We started out search on ways to update our 12 year old kitchen that was full of builder grade materials that were bland. Our main goal was to brighten the kitchen up and bring it to current standards. The cabinets themselves were great quality but we were tired of all the brown (cabinets, backsplash, granite) and decided to look for a painter to refinish the cabinets. We spoke to a number of painters before we found Magnifico and the difference was night and day. In talking with painters, most wanted to just spray the cabinets and doors in place including all the hinges and inside the boxes. They also used house grade paints which were semi-gloss which does not look good in our opinion. We reached out to Clinton at cabrehab and he came out to look at the cabinets and explain the process. He did a great job explaining the process and we could quickly tell that these guys knew what they were doing. Unlike painters, they took all the doors, draw fronts, and any exposed shelves back to their factory for a very thorough process that included cleaning, de-glosssing, sanding, wood filling any holes and imperfections (or in our case holes from old hardware to lock kids out of cabinet), priming, more sanding, more priming, and then two coats of high end CABINET paint, and finally sent through the heater between each coat of paint. The finish looks like it came from a manufacturing plant and is flawless. We chose to go with a matte finish vs. a high gloss that the other painting companies wanted to use. You can choose your color from any of the paint companies and we ended up using Sherwin Williams colors of Greek Villa for the main cabinets and Under the Sea for the island. Clinton convinced us to go with an accent island to match our other decor (breakfast chairs) and the results are stunning. The crew that he sent out was very professional and they take their time to do it right. They taped off the entire room and I mean entire room. There was not a spot left uncovered including the ceiling. The hardest part is that you without the kitchen for the last couple of days and you have to move everything out (to be expected) but it was a good time for us to do some spring cleaning anyway. In all it was a week long project and the rest of the family was out of the house for the final two days as they came back and did the spraying of the boxes, reattached the doors and drawers and cleaned up. If you are thinking about replacing your cabinets or looking at traditional painters I would highly recommend you give Clinton a call as their process and craftsmanship is top notch. You can really tell they love what they do and want to make their customers happy.

I recently had my kitchen remodeled, and I'm so thankful that I found Magnifico Cabinet Refinishing to work their magic on my hideous original builder's cabinets! Clinton provided great recommendations and suggestions during the initial walk through and estimate. I was a little uncertain on choosing a cabinet color prior to the initial walk through, but Clinton made that decision very easy for me. The Magnifico team did a phenomenal job on my cabinets, and I absolutely love my "new" kitchen. The crew was very hard working and diligent. They definitely take pride in their work.
