Avoid this Merchant! there were many rusty spots after the brandnew laundry sink installation. the supplier was hard to deal with and push back to customer! horrible experience with this kind of supplier.

Terrible online business. You have to organise a courier to return your product. Expect to be hundreds of dollars out of pocket. I was

worst customer service. Don't buy top mount sinks, they cant be installed properly. Buildmat does not stand behind its products. They acknowledge the problem with the sink mounting system causes it not to sit flush but say I have to pay my stone mason to come back and cut again. We cut out the stone using the template provided in the box but was advised by Buildmat that it is "only a guide"...the customer service team is a joke. its a shame because the sink seems high quality, what a disgraceful way to treat customers.

This business is appauling to deal with!! We had to return a Maya sink because the cabinet maker had to make changes with the builder after we ordered, therefore it would no longer fit in the laundry. We explained this to Buildmat and advised them that we still needed to replace the Maya with another sink (Jeeves) and purchase another double, which was two sinks in total, after the return. Buildmat requested that we ship the item asap at our cost and that original shipping costs would be deducted, and we agreed. Additionally, a re-stocking fee might apply if the packaging was damaged. The day after shipping the Maya sink for return, we decided that we no longer wish to proceed with purchasing more sinks from Buildmat, as 'Emma' didn't make us feel like Buildmat were interested in retaining our custom. We photographed the sink and returned it in the same condition that it was given to us, and explicity told them that we do not want anymore products from Buildmat, just a refund less any costs. Two weeks later and 10 mins before COB on a Friday afternoon, we received an email from Emma saying that the sink was damaged with scratches and oiled finger marks, and some photographs that anyone could have taken. Absolute rubbish. We explicitly told them in writing before re-shipping the sink that we want any remaining money refunded, however, a three month store credit was provided and our refund request ignored. ACCC time

We've been using Buildmat for all our kitchen and bathroom fittings for the past few months. The price and quality of their products are unmatched but where they really shine is their customer service and delivery on promises. Professional and very easy to deal with - definitely recommend them!
