We had a cabinet repair in our kitchen when a cabinet slide broke. We could not find the needed slide. My husband went to see Brian at Brian McMahan Cabinets. Brian supplied the slide but we could not do the repair since my husband has had back surgery. No problem. Brian sent two men to our home and they quickly made the repair. They were so professional and quickly did what we could not. We did not build this house and I have no idea who installed the cabinets but I certainly wish it would have been Brian McMahan. His repair works much better than the original slides that are on our drawers. Thank you, Brian.

Bryan provides quality in all aspects of the project. Quick and detailed pricing, accurate shop drawings, meets fab and delivery time lines, and material and installation is always excellent.

I would definitely recommend McMahan Custom Cabinets. Bryan was responded when I called him. His drawings and designs were well done and we made corrections and changes back and forth until everything was exactly right. He also took the time to make a sample door with the trim we had chosen for the doors and drawer fronts. The only holdup was caused by the special order trim but that wasn't his fault. When the cabinets were installed everything fit very nicely. The painter he uses also did a great job. The cabinets look great. Thanks, Bryan.

Bryan has always been top notch. Helped me design multiple projects. Honest and fair. If issues arise immediately addresses them. I won’t work with another shop.

In short, a complete lack of attention to detail, a lack of responsiveness, and general apathy toward the $10k+ job leads to a zero-star review. The question is more of “what did they get right?” as opposed to “what went wrong?” My impression is that Bryan’s MO is to get the customer to sign something, then to do something close to what was agreed and attempt to get by without actually providing the service which was agreed upon initially. My experience went something like this: - Bryan sent a first set of CAD drawings that were inexact and missing several features we had explicitly discussed - we talked through those designs, fixed the issues, and signed the SOW - 4-5 weeks later, installation is most of the way through when I realize that this wasn’t what was agreed upon (in writing, both parties signed) — the explanation was “whoops sorry, yeah I don’t know why I drew the specs like that, we can’t actually do that” — the solution was to modify on the spot and lose a drawer because Bryan messed up - despite having the spec sheet for the sink (with exact and accurate measurements), the cabinets around the sink had to be replaced twice (third time’s the charm??) before the sink could be properly installed - I’ve lost count how many times they’ve had to come back to fix the pantry (doors wouldn’t close, shelves had to be replaced because they were the wrong size, the replacement shelves had to be cut because THEY were the wrong size (third time’s the charm again??), peg holes had to be drilled for moveable shelves since they forgot them (twice), then those peg holes had to be drilled again (leaving a lovely set of holes in the cabinet, looks like a gun range) because they were in the wrong spot, a missing shelf had to be made, …) - once everything is painted and the handle pulls are being installed, I realize that several of the drawers in one corner aren’t functional with the handle pulls on them (designed poorly) — so several doors and drawers had to be moved (another trip out), thankfully that was fixable - Bryan “transposed” the numbers on the spec sheet I gave him for my appliances, so when my appliances were delivered after everything has been painted and cleaned up, they couldn’t be installed (electrician had to make a separate trip out for installation $$$), so now I have a half-sized drawer instead of designing it differently (correctly) from the beginning - eventually, my contractor had to hire a specialized carpenter ($$$) to come out and fix several of the things that Bryan had messed up, he basically ended up redoing the entire inside of the pantry - overall, Bryan's incompetence extended my remodel by approximately 8-12 weeks - only interacted with Bryan once, despite him promising to return after completion to go over everything to make sure it was correct and what was agreed on (it was most definitely NOT) tl;dr - avoid at all costs update: refrigerator doesn't fit, despite Bryan having the specs. More $$$ and time to fix.

Soft close drawers in bathroom cabinet do not open smoothly - excessive resistance when pulled out. When I called about the problem, McMahan Cabinets declined to repair or make any adjustment. I cannot recommend this company. I gave two stars only because the cabinet looks good and fits well into the space for which it was designed.

Excellent workmanship. Very professional. Went the extra mile to make sure we were totally pleased with his work. Friendly, returned calls and emails promptly. I would recommend him to everyone.

McMahan cabinets built a custom kitchen island for me, and did a great job. I was very pleased with the final product. It was well built and fit just as expected. They guys who installed it were very knowledgeable and they even went above and beyond by coming back to build and install a drawer and shelf in a pre-existing cabinet for me. I only gave 4 stars because (as a super type A person) I would have preferred a little better communication on the status of the project, but they always answered all my questions when I called to bug them. I definitely recommend them!

To Mc Mahan Cabinets We hired Bryan in August 2016 to do our Cabinets...The Cabinets are absolutely BEAUTIFUL...Bryan went way above and beyond to finish our Cabinets..This man is a PERFECTNESS on his work and his Crew is AWESOME TOO...Everything went as plan and i'm 200 % Satisfied!!!
